It may only be installed by suitably trained personnel. Any legal regulations or regulations issued by authorities must be observed during installation. he device may only be opened at the manufacturer's site. It does not contain any parts that can be replaced or repaired by the user. he cable must not be removed from the device. When calculating the required torque, the specifications supplied by the damper manufacturers (cross-section, design, installation site), and the air flow conditions must be observed. he device contains electrical and electronic components and is not permitted to be disposed of as household refuse. All locally valid regulations and requirements must be observed. Product features Principle of operation Converter for sensors Parameterisable actuators Simple direct mounting Manual override Adjustable angle of rotation High operational reliability Home position he actuator is fitted with an integrated interface for Modbus RU, receives its digital positioning signal from the superordinate Modbus-Master and returns the current status. Connection option for a sensor (passive or active sensor or switching contact). In this way, the analogue sensor signal can be easily digitised and transferred to Modbus. he factory settings cover the most common applications. As desired, individual parameters can be adapted for specific systems or servicing with a service tool (e.g. ZH-GEN). he Modbus communication parameters (address, baud rate, ) are set with the ZH-GEN. Pressing push-button while connecting the supply voltage resets the communication parameters to the factory setting. Quick addressing: he Modbus address can alternatively be set using push-buttons from to 6. he value selected is added to the «Basic address» parameter and results in the effective Modbus address. For example, with a basic address of 40, Modbus addresses between 4 and 56 can be parameterised using quick addressing. Simple direct mounting on the damper spindle with a universal spindle clamp, supplied with an anti-rotation strap to prevent the actuator from rotating. Manual override with push-button possible (the gear is disengaged for as long as the button is pressed or remains locked). Adjustable angle of rotation with mechanical end stops. he actuator is overload-proof, requires no limit switches and automatically stops when the end stop is reached. When the supply voltage is switched on for the first time, i.e. at commissioning or after pressing the «gear disengagement» switch, the actuator travels to the home position. As a consequence, all data can be accessed with the two commands for Holding Register. he commands for Discrete Inputs and Input Registers can be used as an alternative.
