Connect to Tech @ CCPL Charleston County Public Library July August September 2016 Technology Training Catalog The CCPL Tech Team includes staff from the Main Library and five Regional branches who assist library customers with the use of computers and technology through hands-on classes, programs, and individual appointments. Classes and programs are offered monthly at the Main Library and at selected Regional branch locations. Appointments are primarily available at Main. Take a look inside to find the classes, programs, and assistance coming up in July, August, and September. We have something for all skill levels and needs! The online lectures, "Up and Running with Python," will be accompanied by sample tools and collaborative activities. The class is open to teens and adults who have strong computer skills and some knowledge of programming. (Participants may also wish to watch the Lynda.com course "Fundamentals of Programming with Simon Allardice" before beginning.) Personal laptops are encouraged, but one will be provided if needed. You must have a valid Charleston County Library card. Registration is limited to 10 and is required by calling 843-805- 6885. Participation in the first class is mandatory.
