Users To add new users from main menu click Setup and from pull down men that opens go to User list. Here you will see following window. In this menu you can assign new users and edit existing users and change rights of users. There are three types of users 1. CEO (Full rights) 2. Administrator (Full rights) 3. Operator (Cannot change billing heads and rates of services i.e. Consultant fee, bed charge etc. For New User Click on new button and give user name and type password and from Rights select user permission To Edit existing user Navigate user names by clicking on Arrow sign in user list and when required user name appear click and edit button and do change accordingly. 3 P a g e
Consultant Management To add new consultant from main menu click Setup and from pull down men that opens go to Consultant. Here you will see following window. For New Consultant Click on Add button and give consultant Information i.e. Name, Specialty, qualification, address and fee etc. 1. Fee 1 is the fee that consultant charge his patient on first visit 2. Fee 2 is for repeated visits of patient that may be less. To Edit existing Consultant Navigate Consultants by clicking on Arrow sign in consultant form and when required consultant name appear click and edit button and do change accordingly. 4 P a g e
Billing heads To add new Billing heads from main menu click Setup and from pull down men that opens go to Billing Head. Here you will see following window. For New Billing Heads 1 st click on New Type button and give billing Information i.e. Lab, Indoor etc. then select your given billing head click on add button and in Item name give an item name and amount. For example under lab you can add lab investigations. You can add as many items under a billing head as need to. To Edit Billing Head You can change billing head items and their rates. From billing head choose an item and click on Edit button. After doing require change click on Save button. 5 P a g e
Wards/Room Management To add new Ward or room from main menu click Setup and from pull down men that opens go to Wards. Here you will see following window. For Ward / Room 1 st click on New button and give Ward or Room name. Then select ward/room from Ward No on give bed number and click on Plus sign. To Edit Ward / Room You can change ward name and beds. From change a ward/room name select its name from ward list and click on Edit button. After doing require change click on Save button. To change beds from Ward No. select ward/room and from list select bed number and click on Multiply sign 6 P a g e
Indoor Package To add new Indoor Package from main menu click Setup and from pull down men that opens go to Indoor Package. Here you will see following window. For New Indoor Package 1 st click on New button and give package name. Then select package from Indoor package list and give items rates i.e. Bed charges, Nursing Staff and Medical officer from item list. To Edit Indoor Package You can change package name and package items. From change a Package name select its name from Package list and click on Edit button. After doing require change click on Save button. To change package item from Package list select package and from item list select item name and click on Cross sign Basic information is entered now you are ready to entertain patient. Out Patient Department Appointments Click on OPD Patient button following window will be opened. For new patient click on New Registration button and new window that open give patient information the system will generate auto Reg. No. Now will see newly registered patient in Patient name and Reg. No. is also available. Select Doctor Name from consultant name. You can give referral source name in referred by column. If it is first visit of the patient select fee 1 and for repeated patient select fee 2. Click ok payment slip showing token number will ready to print. Appointment list All booking are available in Appointment list. Screen shot is given below. From here you can: a. Give new appointment. As per procedure given in 6.1 above. b. Bill a patient for admission/investigation. (will explain in coming pages) c. Can refund a patient (will explain in coming pages) d. Edit a registration if patient info has to change select patient name and click on Edit Registration button. Registration form will open for editing. e. You can print a bill. Select patient name and click on print bill that patient bill will be open for printing. f. You can print patient list. Click on Print Report button and report is ready to print. 9 P a g e
New bill To bill patient for investigations and other hospital charge click on New Bill button from appointment list. This option is also available in 2 nd row of menu. A new window for billing will open. Screen shot is given below. Give patient registration number and press enter. Patient name will be shown in P. Name. Select referral source. Select Type and select from item list of that type. Click on Add button. You can add multiple items by this procedure. Click on Save button. Bill will be ready to print in two copies one for patient and other for hospital. Screen Shot is given below. 10 P a g e
Indoor Patient To admit a new patient clicks on New admission from 2 nd row of menu. A new window as given below will be opened. 1. Date and time will already available. 2. Give patient registration no and press enter. Patient name will appear in patient name. If patient is not already registered click on New Registration button and registration window will open to register the patient. 3. Select ward/room 4. Select Bed No. 5. Select consultant name who is admitting the patient 6. Select package for the patient. 7. Click on OK button 8. Patient is successfully admitted in hospital. 11 P a g e
Indoor patient list All admitted patients are available in Indoor patient. This list is available to view and perform further task. To open patient list click on Report in top menu row and in pull down menu that open click on Indoor Patients. Indoor patient list will be as under: From here you can admit a new patient. Click on New Admission button and follow the procedure given in previous page You can view the bill of a patient. From list select on patient name and then click on Show Bill Besides viewing the bill you can perform a number of task here for example received payment, change package etc. (This will explain in next page) You can print bill of a patient or print entire patient list. Select patient name and click on Print bill button. The bill is ready to print. The bill be as under:- 12 P a g e
Indoor Patient Bill As explain in previous page, when you select a patient from Indoor Patient list and click on Show bill a new window will be open. Screen shot is as under:- From here you can view summary and details of billed item and as well payment received. Calculate the Bill. Click on calculate Bill button the system will calculate all charges as per package. Receive Payment. To receive payment click on Receive Amount and new window that open give amount and click ok the amount will be added in that patient account. Add to Bill. You can bill investigation and other charges. Click on Add to Bill and new window will open which will explain in next page). Discount. To give a discount to patient click on Discount button and in new window that open give discounted amount. To remove a billed item select from list and click on Delete button selected bill item will be deleted from the bill. You can change patient package. Click on Change Package button and in window that open change the package. You can print the bill. Click on Print bill button and bill is ready to print. To discharge the patient clicks on Discharge button. In new window that open add Remarks and click on ok. Indoor Patient Bill 13 P a g e
Add to bill As explain in previous page, when you click on Add to bill a new window will be open. Screen shot is as under:- From here you can bill the patient for investigations and procedures that are not included in patient package. Item: Select Item the computer will show its description and amount click on Save and the amount will be saved in that patient account. Now it is time to view reports. A large number are reports are available for the management to view. These reports are explained in next pages. 14 P a g e
