The first thing you should do is Click on the Account Tab Check that all the information held in the system about you is correct and add anything that is missing. NOTE: Your address will not be shown to anyone other than the Administrators of the site but your ZIP Code is useful for the other Functions available to you and the other Players. You should change your Password to something you ll remember! And a small photograph can be uploaded for display in the system. Click the SAVE button to keep the changes See the panels shown below.

There are a number of Opt In items that you can change if you prefer these details to be hidden. For example Opt in Rank etc changed to No will hide your Rank and MPTS. Click the SAVE button to keep the changes. Please Note: Your First & Second Name and your ACBL # are the only details that will be displayed to site visitors on the Player List on the Home Page. This is to allow new visitors to check if you are known to them. The Tabs allow you to do lots of interesting things, such as Find a Partner. Click the CONFIRM button to add the information

Find a Partner will let the Director know you need a Partner and also other Players looking for a Partner for that game can get in touch with you, if you have checked the boxes to provide your contact information. You can register your partnership and also indicate that you can t play at an event. You can type a Public, or a Private Message for registered Members only then click the Save Button Click the SAVE button to display the message

The Members List Tab shows information about other Players. Everyone is a Member of the Web Site Membership of Chicago Duplicate Bridge is different see Club ID. You can search for players by typing into the Name Box any part of their name. This is partially CASE SENSITIVE, if I had typed in hazel, only Deborah would have shown as she has hazel in her email.

As long as everyone keeps their information up to date, you will always be able to contact them by phone OR by Email. When you Click on the Email Address an Email Window will appear and you can type your message and click the SEND Icon at the top of the Email Window to send it. It will be sent from YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS. If it takes a while to create the email, you ll find a few drafts to delete in your email system LOL

You can see player s listed Home and Cell phone numbers to call anyone you want to contact. There are other useful facilities from the main menu. The Home Page is the Landing Spot for the Site. It provides some information about the Club and also a snapshot of coming events in a NEWS Section. The Current Newsletter is also shown and can be downloaded from the Home Page. There is a Contact Page that can be used to send a message to the Administrator. This is often used by Visitors to Chicago, who are looking to play while they re in town. There is a link that takes you to see the current Calendar Month. From there you are able you to see the following 2 months when the forward arrow is clicked. Game Times and Location lists all regularly scheduled game details and other information about the Club.
