What You ll Need A basic Internet-connected computing system is all you ll need to participate in our LSM web conference: A PC or Mac Although the screen may be too small, you can use Zoom on an ipad (or even iphone) An Internet connection (wireless or Ethernet) Ethernet is best Audio (most laptops have these built-in): A speaker so that you can hear the webinar An optional microphone if you will be doing some talking To broadcast video (optional): To show your smilin face to the host and to other participants, you ll need a webcam (camera) So your computer doesn t have a webcam or a microphone? Zoom conferencing Participants Host (LSM) To get started, install the Zoom app using the information in the web conference e-mail 1 Download the app: Browse to the URL in the e-mail you received (https://zoomus/j/4259853615) The site prompts you to download and install the app on your system 2 Start the app: After installing, the Zoom app should run automatically If not, locate the app and double-click it Enter the meeting ID and your name so that the host knows who you are Windows macos Click the Join button 3 Setting up the audio and visual: If you plan on using your system s speaker, webcam, or microphone, you should be ready to go!
