2: Quick Start Guide 2.1: Installing the Batteries We suggest that you use high quality, 8pcs, AA 1.5V alkaline batteries to maximize camera performance and battery life. Pay attention to the (+) or (-) molded into each sleeve to determine how to properly arrange the batteries. Negative battery terminals always contact the spring. Note: Do not mix different types of batteries Do not mix old and new batteries Recommend high-density and high-performance batteries, such as Alkaline Always remove batteries when not in use to prevent leakage 2.2: Installing the SD Card To enable power to the camera you must first install an SD Card in the designated slot at the bottom of the camera. You can use any SD Card storage size up to 32GB. You must also have the SD Card inserted into the camera to complete the setup process. Page 2
2.4: Power Switch and Buttons Slide the power switch to SETUP position, then you can start to customize your camera settings. (Fig. 3 Power switch) Power Switch: OFF: Power off(please remove batteries when not in use) SETUP: Customize camera settings ON: Working mode (the display screen will power off). Buttons: MENU: Exit/Enter Playback menu : Navigation button. Press to change the items. Press to change the parameters. OK: Confirm operation /Entering the Detection Test screen, press OK to manually take photo or video. (Click again to stop the video.). Page 3
2.5: Settings Map (Fig. 4 Main Screen) Quick Select: This camera allows the user to save several frequently used settings. Conveniently select one of the saved settings for faster camera setup. Detection Test: Allows the user to test the detection system of the camera. Walk in front of the camera, when the camera detects a movement, the red light will blink. You can also manually take pictures or video clips via the OK button. Playback :The user can playback the photos from the display screen. Press to switch photos. Press OK to exit. Settings: Change the camera settings here. Page 4

3: Auxiliary Power Your camera comes with an Auxiliary power jack. If you want to hook up an external 6V battery to power the camera, you can. A standard 4mm jack is required to make the connection. You can find external 6V power accessories at www.firstcam.pro 4: Mounting Tips For best results, mount the camera approximately 48 off the ground and 25ft away from the target area. To enhance the flash, we recommend positioning the camera towards an area with a backdrop to reflect the maximum amount of light. Note: 1. The sun should not be shining directly on the face of the camera. Page 9
(Fig. 5) 2. Reflect with trees or other objects to add more light to your target. (Fig. 6) 3. Avoid placing the camera where it is exposed to constant wind or there is too much vegetation. False triggers mostly occur on sunny, breezy days. When the wind moves the vegetation, the camera detects this and cannot distinguish it from a warm-blooded animal moving through the scene. Page 10

If your camera fails to function under normal use within 1 year, we will repair or replace the camera at no charge. The purchase receipt must be included from an authorized retailer to validate the warranty. Improper use of the camera resulting in damage is not covered by this warranty.
