Process For step by step instructions on how to navigate the UDI website 1. Access UDI Website 1.1 Creating a Post Case Implant Log Step Action 1 Select Post Case Implant Log Tab 2 (Optional) Enter Hospital Name, Operating Room, Surgery Date/Time, Surgeon Name, Case ID. Click on the Calendar icon to pick a date and time Click outside the date/time window for the selected date/time to be entered into the line 3 Select your Operating Company 4 Search for products by either selecting Contains, Starts With or Exact Match 3 of 22
5 You have the ability to narrow your search criteria by selecting SKU, GTIN, and/or Description. 6 Press Search Search Results is generated based on your criteria Since the criteria was set for Spine which included SKU, GTIN and Description for a product that contains 1881 every product with 1881 appeared 7 Click the Add button to add the product to the Case ADD Enter the Lot Number o If you do not have a Lot Number it will default to the current date. Enter Product Quantity o If you do not enter a Product Quantity it will default to a quantity of 1 Click Add to case 4 of 22
8 To Edit products in Your Case press the pencil icon 9 You have the ability to change the LOT Number and Product Quantity 10 Press Add to Case to update Your Case o Product Quantity was change to 2 11 Press the x in Your Case to delete a product The above message box appears to confirm you action request The product will not long appear in Your Case 5 of 22
12 Press DONE! when you finish entering all of your products for Your Case o You may also Edit or Delete products from this page 13 Press the Excel button to download your case into Excel o If you are using Google Chrome it will appear at the bottom left of your browser, otherwise follow the procedure for your browser o Your Case Name will be the title of the Excel Doc Press the Excel doc to open 14 Accept the Disclaimer Press the Excel doc to open 6 of 22
15 Press the PDF button to open your case as a pdf. Accept the disclaimer A new tab will open if you are in Google Chrome with your case 16 The top right of the screen will give you viewing options as well as the ability to save the doc and/or print 7 of 22
2. Using My Set Templates 2.1 Creating a user account Step Action 1 Select My Set Templates Tab 2 In order to create and manage custom sets you will need to create user account Click on the Login icon 3 Press the Register Button 8 of 22
4 Enter your information then press Register The confirmation box will appear and you will receive a comfirmation email. 5 Press Visit Set Dashboard to take you to My Set Templates Your name will appear at the top of the screen under Unique Device Identification 9 of 22
2.2 Creating a New Custom Set From Existing Set Step Action 1 Press New Custom Set button Filters can be changed from this screen. 2 Enter Set name or Product Line then press Search Example: SKYC or Skyline Press Start From This Set 3 You can change the Set Name, SKU and Set GTIN Press Save Set 4 You may change also change the Set Name, Set SKU and/or Set GTIN when you press the pencil next to the existing set name 10 of 22
5 To add tray press Add Tray 6 Name the tray then press Save Tray 7 To open the tray either press the arrow next to the tray or press the tray name You may also open all of the trays by pressing Expand All and to close all the trays press Colapse All 8 To move products from one tray to another select the product then drag to the desired tray o You may click and drag multiple products To delete drag items in to the trash can 11 of 22
9 To view a blank form of a set press PDF then select Form 10 To view the inventory form for a set press PDF then select Inventory 2.3 Creating a New Custom Set From Scratch Step Action 1 Press New Custom Set button 2 Press the Start From Scratch button 3 To change the set name press the pencil icon next to the existing set name 12 of 22
4 Enter the Set Name, Set SKU and/or Set GTIN then press Save Set 5 To add tray press Add Tray 6 Name the tray then press Save Tray 7 Press Add products to tray 13 of 22
8 Enter the Product Number or key words Select the products to add to the set Press done when complete 9 You may edit the quantities by change the QTY 14 of 22
10 To move implants around in the tray you can drag a product to the desired location 11 The gear icon next to the products allows you to o Move the implant up or down in the tray o Move to another tray in the set o Duplicate an product o Remove a product 12 To save set changes press Save Changes button o Confirmation Box will appear Click on the screen to proceed 15 of 22
2.4 Clone Sets Step Action 1 Select My Set Template Tab and enter Set Name or Product Line then press search 2 Press view next to the desired set 3 Press Clone Set button You may change the Set Name, St SKU and Set GTIN then press Save Set 16 of 22
4 Your cloned set will appear 5 To customize the set refer to steps 3 8 in 1.2 Creating a New Custom Set 2.5 Share Sets Step Action 1 Select My Set Template Tab 2 Place a check in the box next to the set(s) you would like to share. 17 of 22
3 Press Share Selelcted Sets 4 Enter the email address of the person you would like to share the set. 5 The person receiving the shared set will get an email with instructions to either Log in to Nexus or to set up a Nexus account. 6 Below is the way the Shared Set will look in shared person s Nexus account 18 of 22
2.6 Delete Sets Step Action 1 Select My Set Template Tab 2 Press Edit next to a Set Type labeled Owned Custom o You cannot delete Standard Sets 3 Press Delete Set 4 Press OK in the confirmation box that appears. 5 The set is no longer in My Sets 19 of 22
3. Downloading GTINs to Excel: 3.1 GTIN Excel Download Step Action 1 Select GTIN Excel Download Tab 2 Select the appropriate Operating Company for the GTINs you want to download by pressing the link 20 of 22
3 The Excel Zip file will appear at the bottom left corner if you are using Google Chrome. The file may appear differently if you are using a browser other than Google Chrome 4 Select the Zip file to open Follow the procedure for the browser you are using. 21 of 22
5 Select the Excel File Excel file opens 22 of 22
