Operations & Technology Roundtable Crowne Plaza Monroe, Monroe Township, NJ Tuesday, November 8, 2016 SPEAKERS Chris Hendricks Delta Risk Chris Hendricks is the vice president of Security Operations Services for Delta Risk, where he specializes in delivering cybersecurity monitoring, incident management, and incident response services. Hendricks has more than 12 years of experience across the cybersecurity domain, including intrusion investigations, cyber incident response, network security analysis, and digital forensics. Prior to Delta Risk, he was a federal criminal investigator specializing in counterintelligence and cybercrime investigations. He also served as a technical advisor, analyst, and incident responder with the US Air Force, and is one of a small cadre of defensive cyber professionals trained to pursue advanced persistent threats (APT) on government networks. Hendricks holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis, and is a trained facilitator, project manager, and software developer. He maintains multiple industry certifications, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Patrick Keating Sun National Bank Patrick Keating is a senior level information security, technology, and risk management practitioner with more than 15 years of experience in the financial sector. Patrick s career focus has been largely with small to mid-sized banks, driving innovation and change in the areas of technology and information security. Keating has been recognized by his peers as a New Leader in Banking in 2014 by the New Jersey Bankers Association. Today, he works as the Information Security Officer at Sun National Bank, a 2.3 Billion institution based in Southern New Jersey. Previously, Keating has served in many technology and security roles in other financial institutions including system and network administration and departmental management. Additionally, he maintains the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification. When not working, Keating spends his free time raising awareness on technology and information security issues and is an active participant in several organizations including InfraGard and the South Jersey Security Association. For his efforts, he was selected as the Chairman of the New Jersey Banker s Association Operations and Technology Committee. In this role he helps to organize and coordinate the group s activities including the biannual 80 member workshops.
Jerald D. Murphy BITS, LLC Jerald D. Murphy is the CEO of BITS. Murphy has most recently come from Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation, a Fortune 500 company where he was the Global Practice Leader for Infrastructure Services. He has spent over 20 years in the computer industry, in various technical, marketing, sales, senior management, and industry analyst positions. Murphy is one of the industry's leading authorities on enterprise IT infrastructure design, security and management. He has spent more than 20 years doing engineering research and helping to develop infrastructure and security strategies for many of the largest global companies and service providers. Murphy s areas of primary coverage include data center infrastructure and enterprise systems management. Additional focus areas include managed services and IT outsourcing. He has a BSEE from The United States Military Academy and a Master s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University. William Nowik Wolf & Company William Nowik is a principal in Wolf's Information Technology (IT) Assurance Services group where he is responsible for managing a team of professionals to ensure that his clients receive IT services that are tailored to their individual needs. Prior to joining Wolf in 2002, Nowik held an internal IT auditor role with Staples, Inc. In this capacity, he performed engagements such as general information systems controls reviews, technical security reviews; application controls reviews, and operational audit projects. Nowik has performed consulting services for various industries including Financial, Technology, Healthcare, and Government. His consulting experience includes cybersecurity, IT risk management, network infrastructure and design, Microsoft Windows & Active Directory security, VMware security, IBM iseries (AS/400) security, Oracle Database security, wireless network security, web applications, firewalls, business continuity planning and disaster recovery, incident response, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, social engineering testing, application security reviews, and policy and procedure development. In addition to the areas noted above, he has helped his clients implement information security programs that comply with Gramm Leach Bliley Act (GLBA), Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), state privacy laws, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX 404) Act. He is a member of various organizations and has written numerous articles. Nowik is a graduate of Bryant College.
Joseph Romanello Strategic Resource Management Joseph Romanello is senior vice president of Strategic Resource Management (SRM), providing specialized consulting services in cost savings, revenue and efficiency enhancement and supply chain management. Romanello has extensive experience in the financial services, banking and consumer products sectors and has also been responsible for executive management board training and consulting. He has a strong track record as an executive sales leader and sales trainer in a number of industries and has developed and implemented sales, and content marketing curriculums for financial services organizations. Romanello has taught sales and business development for junior- and senior-level sales professionals in a number of business sectors. A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ, he is a risk management expert, specifically focused in the area of enterprise risk management and governance for highly regulated industries.
