Who should attend: This seminar is useful for a computer novice, all the way up to expert level. About the Presenter Darrell Fortae began learning how to program computers when he was 11 years old. His father hired a professional to give him private lessons because of his interest level. Before reaching college, he had already hosted his own BBS (Bulletin Board System), created games and mastered computer functions easily. Fortae has been working in software development for a total of 25 years (15 being professional). He also has a passion to teach. Because of his practical years of experience, as well as having a bachelor s degree in computer science, he provides multiple perspectives while teaching. He has worked for various computer consulting firms doing a wide variety of software development (Java,.NET, C++, etc.), as well as system/software architecture roles. He also has worked in several state agencies as a consultant. He is owner of Everlast Software, LLC, which offers a wide variety of software and services, including a strong focus on document management/imaging.
