Community Mobile Patrol Officer User Guide v13.4 To download the PatrolLIVE App for the iphone: 1. On the iphone, go to the App Store and search for Guard Tour (Please note: The App is not supported on the ipad) 2. Select INSTALL and download the App. (Enter your Apple ID or itunes password if prompted) Guard Tour may prompt the following: Select OK or your GPS may not work) Important Note: The iphone App Grabs an activation key from the software automatically. You will not be prompted to enter an Activation Key 3. Enter Username and Password (Username & Passwords ArE Case Sensitive) 4. Select Confirm User Account 5. On next screen, enter your Username and Password AGAIN (2 nd time) and select Login 6. The iphone will automatically Sync and Download tour data. PatrolLIVE is ready to go! Make sure the iphone device is NOT set to display in military time. This may create an incorrect display date of the patrols that upload to the server from your device. Correct: Incorrect:
To download the PatrolLIVE App for the Android Phone: 1. On your phone, go to the Play Store or Market and search for Guard Tour 2. Select INSTALL and download the application. 3. Open Application on your phone 4. Enter Phone Activation Key (Provided by Management) and select Activate 5. Select the Sync Users button. 6. After Sync is complete, enter your Username & Password, (Usernames & Passwords ARE Case Sensitive) and Select Login. 7. Phone will automatically download Patrol Users and Tour Data. PatrolLIVE is ready to go!

Tour Screen Guide: Cancel Button: Save Progress / Delete / Resume Patrol Emergency Information Button: Displays information added by Management: Scan Button: To Scan GeoTags at Checkpoints: Incident Button: To create an incident report or fill out a form (see next page) Save Progress Button: Pauses a Tour so you can come back later. Send Priority Alert Email: When set to ON this will send a priority email alert notification to Administration Staff. Send this alert to notify Administration Staff regarding this tour (maybe something unique happened?) Required: * Will show if a Checkpoint (or a task within a Checkpoint) MUST be performed on a tour (Example): Complete When tour is finished. Proceed to Home screen and perform Sync.
Incidents: 1. Click Add Incident on Home Screen: or during a Patrol: 2. Select Tour: 3. Select Form 4. Fill out Form: Save Progress Button: Shows when creating an incident while performing a tour. Save progress and come back later to finish the report on your existing tour. Does not show when incident report is created from Homepage Complete Button: While performing a tour, Complete will save the incident report along with the tour to be synchronized when your entire tour is completed (example if you have 5 incidents created on a tour, they would all be attached to the tour you performed If used when incident is generated from the homepage, the incident will be saved to be synchronized at a later time as an individual event (not attached to a tour) you will then need to Sync the phone to upload the individual report. You will also have the ability to Send priority alert email Please Note: Incident reports can only be created or modified on the administration website The phone application is not able to edit or modify incident report creation.
Phone Settings: Settings: Clear Device will delete all tour data and cache information on the application. Do Not Use this unless instructed by dwellinglive Technical Support Sync Users will update users that were modified by Administrator since the last Synchronization. In Progress: The In Progress Button will display all Patrols that need to be synchronized or completed. You may have needed to stop or pause during a patrol, or be managing multiple patrols during one shift. Once you have saved progress on a tour, you can resume and complete, or delete a patrol from this button. Sync: The Sync button will synchronize the phone & tours with the server. You will use this button when you have completed a patrol and are ready to upload it to the server. If there are tasks in progress, you may need to complete them (if required) prior to synchronization. Logout: Select Logout after completing shifts using Mobile Patrol if needed. Logging out is not required. You must sync all patrols & incidents prior to logging out or you will lose data from the patrols. The Mobile Patrol phone app does NOT create or modify Users, Checkpoints, Tours, or Add Activation Keys. Please refer to the Adminisration Quick Start Guide for these tasks.
