The METTLER TOLEDO Partner estore is our comprehensive online account management tool for authorized METTLER TOLEDO distributors. It s accessible at partner.store.mt.com from any computer, tablet or mobile device with an Internet connection. Partner estore offers many advanced functions and features that provide instant visibility to vital information and help you efficiently manage all aspects of your business with METTLER TOLEDO. Why should I use Partner estore? The METTLER TOLEDO Partner estore is designed to offer our distributors a convenient, highly efficient way to interact with METTLER TOLEDO and access all the information and support you need whenever you need it. How do I get started? This User Guide was designed to provide step-by-step instructions for accessing the METTLER TOLEDO Partner estore and using its useful features and functions. Please review the Table of Contents on the previous page for a complete list of topics. The first section, Accessing Partner estore, includes instructions for logging in to the system using your personal user ID and password. Please note: If you do not have a user ID and password, please contact your Area Distributor Manager. Accessing the Partner estore 1. 2. Visit the secure METTLER TOLEDO Partner estore website at partner.store.mt.com. You can access Partner estore using any computer, tablet or mobile device with an Internet connection. You may want to bookmark this site for easy access in the future. Enter your user ID and password, then click the Log On button. If you do not have a user ID and password, contact your METTLER TOLEDO Area Distributor Manager. Your user ID and password will be emailed to you once access has been granted. 3. After you log on, you will see your personalized Partner estore homepage, with the latest sales promotions, specials, and announcements displayed. Please note: Your pricing will be automatically updated in your basket to reflect any ongoing promotions. Please review the other sections of this User Guide for information on searching for a product, placing an order, tracking your orders, creating a service request, and more. 5

Searching for Products The METTLER TOLEDO Partner estore offers three simple ways to search for METTLER TOLEDO products from your homepage. 1. a. Product Category Navigation Begin by clicking the Product Catalog link. This link can be found at the center of your homepage and on the blue toolbar at the top of the screen. 1 b. Once you have accessed the Product Catalog, you will see a list of product categories on the left side of the screen. 6

c. Click on a product category to view the available product families within that category d. Click on a product family name to view all models within that family. This page includes an image of the product, product information/ specifications, a list of all available models, the suggested list price, and your price. Enter the quantity of each model you wish to order and click the Shopping Basket icon to add them to your basket (See Placing an Order for additional details.) You can also select one or more of the products shown by clicking on one or more of the item boxes at the far right of the screen and then clicking on the Transfer Selection button. 7

2. a. Quick Search Box Use this method if you know the model number or item number of a product. Begin by clicking the Product Catalog link. This link can be found at the center of your homepage and on the blue toolbar at the top of the screen. 2 b. Once you have accessed the Product Catalog, you will see the Quick Search box on the left side of the screen. Enter the model number or item number into the Quick Search box and click the Search button. When searching, use an asterisk * at the beginning or end of a search term to optimize your product search. c. You will see the search results which includes an image of the product, product information, availability information, the suggested list price and your price. 8

d. You can click on a product model number to access additional details about the model. e. Enter the quantity of each model you wish to order and click the Shopping Basket icon to add them to your basket. (See Placing an Order for additional details.) 9

3. a. Advanced Search Use this method if you know the product ID or some information about the product. Begin by clicking the Product Catalog link. This link can be found at the center of your homepage and on the blue toolbar at the top of the screen. 3 b. Once you have accessed the Product Catalog, click the Advanced Search link on the left side of the screen. c. Utilize the search filters to narrow your search. The Short Description field is the METTLER TOLEDO product model number and the Product ID field is the new SAP item number. Enter the model number or SAP item number in the Find Product field and select the appropriate filters. You can also utilize the Catalog Area drop-down menu to further refine your search. d. Once you have entered all appropriate information, click on the Search button 10

e. If you enter the complete item or model number, you will see the product page. This page includes an image of the product, product information/specifications, the suggested list price, and your price. f. If you enter a partial item or model number, scroll through until you find the item you are searching for and click the product name. g. Once on the appropriate product page, enter the quantity you wish to order and click the Shopping Basket icon to add them to your basket. (See Placing an Order for additional details.) 11

Placing an Order The METTLER TOLEDO Partner estore is designed to make it simple and convenient to place an online order for METTLER TOLEDO products. There are two simple ways to place your order. 1. a. Search for Products and Place Order After searching for a product and landing on a product page (see Searching for Products for additional details), enter the quantity of each model you wish to order and click the Shopping Basket icon to add them to your basket. 1 b. You will be prompted to select a new transaction. Select Order transaction type and click Create. Any additional products added to your Shopping Basket during this visit will be added to the same order. c. When you have placed all the products you wish to d. Click the Shopping Basket icon in the upper order into your Shopping Basket, you are ready to right hand corner of the screen. place your order and check out. Only users with purchasing rights will be able to place orders. 12

e. You can now view the contents of your Shopping Basket, confirm your delivery address, select your preferred shipping method and delivery date, and choose a payment method. f. If you wish to use your company credit line, select Invoice option. g. If you wish to pay using a credit card then select Credit Card payment method. Once you have selected the Credit Card payment, you now have the option to either use a previously saved credit card or choose to enter a new card. If you choose to use a previously saved credit card: - Select the saved card you wish to use - Enter the CVV number If you choose to use a new card: - Choose type of card from drop-down menu - Enter the relevant credit card information - Choose whether you d like to save the credit card info for future purchases or if the card is only for the current purchase h. Please note: You must enter a PO number in the Your Reference field. The Your Description field is optional and free to use. If the order is a result of a lead provided by METTLER TOLEDO, you must enter the provided lead ID in the Lead ID field. 13

i. You can view a summary of your estimated pricing in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Applicable freight costs will be available on the order invoice. Applicable taxes will be shown in the order confirmation email and invoice. j. To change a quantity or delete an item, enter the new information and click the Update button. k. When you have confirmed that all the information is correct and you are ready to place your order, click the check box next to Accept General Terms and Conditions and then click the Order button in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. l. You will then be asked to confirm that you would like to place the order. Once an order has been submitted, it cannot be recalled, except under exceptional circumstances. m. You will then see a confirmation and summary of your order. You may wish to print this screen for your records. 14

2. Create a New Order ( Quick Order ) Use this method if you know the item number of a product you wish to order. 2 a. After logging in to Partner estore, click the Create New Order link on your personalized homepage. b. c. You will be taken to the quick ordering screen. Enter your reference number (PO), confirm your delivery address, select your preferred shipping method and requested delivery date, and choose a payment method. 15

d. Next, enter the item number of the product you wish to order in the product field and quantity you wish to order and click the Update button at the bottom of the screen. e. If you do not know the product s item number, you can perform a quick search by clicking on the Products tab on the navigation panel on the left side of the screen. Enter a search term and applicable criteria from the Show me products with drop-down menu and then click Go. f. The search results will be displayed on the left side of the screen. You can add any of the results to the Order form by clicking on the Shopping Basket icon on the right side of the search results page. 16

g. Once you have confirmed that all information is correct and you are ready to place your order, check off the Accept General Terms and Conditions, box and then click the Order button. You will then be asked again if you are sure you would like to place the order. Orders are final when submitted and can only be recalled under exceptional circumstances. h. You will then see a confirmation and summary of your order. You may wish to print this screen for your records. 17

Order Template In Partner estore, you can create an order template pre-populated with products that you frequently order. You can pre-fill the products, shipping address, and delivery method so that when you are ready to place a new order for that product or products, you just need to update the reference field, quantity, and requested delivery date. The template can be quickly and easily converted to an order anytime! 1. a. Create a New Order Template After searching for a product and arriving on the product page (see Searching for Products for additional details), enter the quantity of each model you wish to order and click the Shopping Basket icon. b. You will be prompted to select a new transaction type. Select Order Template transaction type and click Create. c. Next, click the Shopping Basket icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Templates will be accessible to all users within a company. 18

d. e. You can now view the contents of your order template, select your delivery address, and preferred delivery method. Please note: You must enter a reference or PO number in the Your Reference field at the top of the screen. You may want to fill in the Reference field with information that will help you identify the contents of the order template. f. You can change the quantity, delete or add an item and then click Update. g. Click on Save at the bottom of the screen to save your new Order Template. h. Partner estore will confirm that the new template has been saved in the system. Note: You can also create an order template from the homepage. Click New Order Template on the homepage under the New Transaction section. Follow the same steps listed on page 15 under Create a New Order Quick Order. 19

2. a. Place an Order with an Order Template. On the homepage, click on the Create new order on the basis of an order template link under the New Transaction section. b. c. A list of all Order Templates you have created will be displayed. Click on the template you would like to use to place an order. d. The template will be converted to an order, with most fields pre-populated. e. Fill in any missing information, such as delivery date, quantity, update the reference number if necessary and click Update at the bottom of the page. f. Check off the Accept General Terms and Conditions box and Click Order. 20

Stock Availability In Partner estore, you can quickly and easily check the availability of each product. On each product family page, a list of all available models will be shown. Availability information for all models will be listed in the Quantity column. Depending on the type of product, you may see the following: - Estimated lead time Generally shipped in X business day(s), where X is lead time. - Check Availability link Enter the quantity required and click the Check Availability link. The system will check your requirements against available stock and provide you with an estimated ship date. All products also have a quick reference color coding system which designates if a product is available, will soon be available, or if there will be a significant lead time. Note: Available stock can change quickly as other customer orders are processed. 21

Searching Transactions Partner estore s convenient transaction lookup function enables you to find records of your previous orders through Partner estore, as well as transactions made through the METTLER TOLEDO customer service and technical support departments. 1. 2. 3. After logging on to Partner estore, click the My Transactions link on the blue toolbar at the top of the screen on your homepage. Use the drop-down menus on the Transactions tab to select your search criteria. In the Search For field, you can select the type of transaction you wish to look up, including orders, order templates, and service requests. Please note: You can also search for a submitted service request or warranty claim. 22

4. 5. Depending on transaction type, use the additional drop-down menus to narrow down your search. Once you have selected all your search criteria, click the Go button to view your results. 6. Then, click a transaction number to view detailed records of that transaction. 23

Order Details You can track the status and progress of any order in Partner estore. 1. 2. 3. Search for your submitted order using the Transaction Search (See Searching Transactions/ Submitted Orders for additional details). Click on the Transaction number of the order you would like to track. You will now be able to view all details of the order, including the current status of the order, including shipment, and tax information. 4. a. If the order has been shipped, you will also be able to see the shipping costs. Delivery details can be viewed by clicking on the Delivery Details link in the Status column. If available, a tracking icon will be located next to the delivery number. Click on the icon to be taken to the shipper s online tracking page. 5. If the order is billed, you will be able to see invoice information. Note: Delivery times will vary based on your requested shipping speed and the delivery service selected during the order process. 24

Service Requests The METTLER TOLEDO Partner estore offers three ways to contact METTLER TOLEDO with general questions, technical service requests or warranty issues. 1. a. General Request If you have a general request, such as a request for product or marketing literature or you would like more information on a product, use the General Request link. Begin by clicking the Product Catalog button on the blue toolbar at the top of your screen. b. c. Next, click the Submit an Online Service Request link at the bottom of the left hand navigation panel. Select General Request from the Create a Service Request screen. A General Request can also be created from within the Help section of Partner estore. d. Your contact information will be pre-populated in the Contact fields. e. Enter a message and subject in the applicable fields. 25

f. You also have the option of uploading an attachment, such as a document or image file, by clicking the Attachment button at the bottom of the screen. g. When you have entered information into all fields of the General Request form, click the Submit Service request link to send your message to METTLER TOLEDO. h. A confirmation screen will appear to indicate that your message was submitted successfully. Use the service request ID to reference this request. Utilize the Search Transactions function to view the status of your request. A METTLER TOLEDO representative will respond via email or phone in a timely manner. 26

2. a. Technical Support Request If you or a customer are experiencing a technical problem with an METTLER TOLEDO product, or have another technical question about a product, use the Technical support link. Begin by clicking the Catalog button on the blue toolbar at the top of your screen. b. c. Next, click the Submit an Online Service Request link at the bottom of the left hand navigation panel. Select Technical support request from the Create a Service Request Screen. Your contact information will be pre-populated in the Contact fields. d. e. You must choose a Service category from the drop-down menu. In the Details section, enter the information about the product you are experiencing a technical issue with. f. Enter a message about the problem you are experiencing in the message field. g. h. You also have the option of uploading an attachment, such as a document or image file, by clicking the Upload an attachment button at the bottom of the screen. When you have entered information into all fields of the Technical Support Request form, click Submit Service request to send it to METTLER TOLEDO. 27

i. A confirmation screen will appear to indicate that your request was submitted successfully. Use the service request ID to reference this request. Utilize the Search Transactions function to view the status of your request. An METTLER TOLEDO representative will respond via email or phone in a timely manner. 3. a. Warranty Request Use this method if you have a problem or issue with a product that was recently purchased and still under warranty. Begin by finding the record of a previous order or transaction through Partner estore (see Searching Transactions/ Submitted Orders for additional details). Click the transaction number to access the records for that transaction. b. Once you have selected a specific transaction, click the Submit an Online Service Request link from the Support Request columns at the bottom of the screen. 28

c. Select Warranty request on the next page. d. e. On the screen that appears, ensure that each field of the Warranty Request form is filled out accurately. The product Serial Number is a required field. If you are having trouble with a mechanical product, enter N/A. When you have entered information into all fields of the Warranty Request form, click Submit Service request to send it to METTLER TOLEDO. 29

f. A confirmation screen will appear to indicate that your request was submitted successfully. Use the service request ID to reference this request. Utilize the Search Transactions function to view the status of your request. An METTLER TOLEDO representative will respond via email or phone in a timely manner. 30

Warranty Claims The METTLER TOLEDO Partner estore lets you contact METTLER TOLEDO with warranty claims. a. Warranty Claims From your homepage, click Create new Warranty Claim at the bottom, under the New Transaction section. b. c. Enter your PO number under Your Reference. Enter the date that the service was completed by selecting a date from the green calendar box. d. Enter the End Customer information where the service was provided. 31

e. Select the type of Repair Service from the drop-down. f. Search for the product that was serviced by choosing Serial Number, Product Number or Product Description. Enter information into the blank field and click Find. Then, choose a selection from the results. g. Enter MT Order Number and Ship Date of the product. h. Enter information about the service that was provided. i. j. Enter any spare parts that were used for the service including the Qty, MT Order No. and Install Date. To select a spare part, enter the part number and click Find. Then, choose a selection from the results. Add attachment and click Submit when you have provided the relevant information or Clear to start over. k. Your Warranty Claim transaction will be displayed after clicking Submit. l. Using the drop-down options under My Transactions you can search your Warranty Claim history. m. Click on the transaction number to go into the submitted warranty claim to see details and approval comments of the submitted warranty claim. 32

Updating Your User Account It s easy to update your information in METTLER TOLEDO Partner estore to ensure that your account is always accurate. 1. After logging on to Partner estore, click the My Details link in the upper right corner of your homepage. 2. Click Change Address Data. 3. a. Ensure that each field of your account information is filled out accurately. If you need to update any of your information, simply click that field and enter the correct information. Then click Save. If you would like to update any other contact information, please submit a general service request. Note: You cannot change the email address associated with an account. 33

Maintain Customer Shipping Addresses In addition to your company s shipping address, you can save customers shipping addresses in Partner estore so orders can be shipped directly to customers. 1. After logging on to Partner estore, click the My Details link in the upper right corner of your homepage. 2. Click Maintain customer shipping address. 3. Click New at the bottom of the screen and enter the shipping address information. Then click Save. 34

4. If you d like to update an existing address, select the address from the drop-down menu at the top of the screen. Edit all necessary information and click Save. 5. If you d like to delete an existing address, select the address from the drop-down menu at the top of the screen and click Delete. When you are in your Shopping Basket preparing to submit an order, you can select a pre-programmed address in the Deliver To: field. 35

Forgotten User ID If you have forgotten your User ID, the following steps will help you recover your ID. 1. On the Login screen, click Forgot User ID? 2. Enter your Customer Number (your company ID that can be found on any METTLER TOLEDO invoice), First and Last Name, and email address associated with your Partner estore account. 3. Click Request User ID. A confirmation screen will be displayed and you will receive an email with your User ID. 36

Forgotten Password The following steps will help you obtain a new password if you have forgotten your current password. 1. On the Login screen, click Forgot password? 2. Enter your User ID and email address associated with your Partner estore account. 3. Click Request password. A confirmation screen will be displayed and you will receive an email with your temporary password. Upon logging in, you will be prompted to change your password. Temporary passwords expire in 14 days. If you do not change your password within 14 days you will be required to request a new password again. 37

Change Password You can change your password by following these steps. 1. After logging on to Partner estore, click the My Details link in the upper right corner of your homepage. 2. Click Change Password. 3. 4. Enter your current password in the Old Password field as well as your desired new password in the Password and Verify Password fields. Click Save Password. 5. Partner estore will provide an on-screen confirmation that the password has been successfully changed. Note: Passwords can only be changed once per day. Passwords should be a minimum of 8 characters and the last 12 passwords can be reused. 38

Help METTLER TOLEDO Partner estore is designed to be fast and easy to use. If you ever have a question or need additional information about Partner estore or METTLER TOLEDO products, follow the steps below. 1. a. After logging on to Partner estore, click the Help link in the upper right corner of your homepage.
