1.1 The platform: Site registration In order to log into the MyAcademy Demo platform go to the following link: http://www.myacademy-demo.kpmg.it/ You can create a new account by click on the button at the bottom right of the screen. 3
1.1 The platform: Site registration Fill in the required fields. Please use an active email address as you will be sent an email upon registration in order to confirm your account. 4

1.2 The platform: personal home page You will be redirected to a page confirming your registration. Click on the "MyHome" button to access your home page. The next time you return to the site you can simply login with your username and password. Browse the Catalogue section to see the available courses available for self-enrolment In the downloads section, you can download various materials and brochures. 6
1.3 The platform: Catalogue You can explore the catalogue by clicking on the individual category titles, or by clicking on Expand all at the top right of the screen. In the "Direct access to Demo Courses" courses section, you can self-enroll in the courses provided. 7

1.4 The platform: Course self-enrollment The courses are now available on your home page in the "My To Dos" section. Simply click on the title of the course to access the e-learning 9
1.5 The platform: Personal reporting The My Training block provides you with two links: 1. Personal reporting; and 2. Transcript Personal reporting When you click on this link, you will be brought to a page where all of your courses are listed. You can select one or all of the courses that you would like to extract a report from. Select the courses and then click on the Use these filters button, and then either view the results directly on the screen or download in excel format. 10
1.6 The platform: Transcript Transcript When you click on this link, you will be brought to a page where all the courses you have completed are listed. You can download your certificates from here. 11
1.7 The platform: Main links On the homepage and at the top of the screen, you will find links to 4 sections: My Profile, My Achievements, Catalogue and Collaboration. In the My Profile section, you can will see a brief overview of your account (for demo purposes the ability to personalize your profile picture and personal interests has been deactivated) In the My Achievements section, you can view all of the badges that you have earned for the completion of courses and other activities. The Catalogue links you to the list of courses available on the platform. The Collaboration link brings you to the Discussion forum page where you can read, participate and contribute in the various discussions that are relevant to you (on this demo platform, the ability to post has been disabled) 12
2.1 Courses: the structure By clicking on the title of the course on your home page you will access the course page. A standard course is made up of: 1. a lesson, that you have to complete to access the test; 2. a final test, that you have to pass in order to complete the course; 3. a certificate of completion that you can print or save. Click on the lesson title to start the course. 13
2.2 Courses: the final test Once you have completed all the units of the lesson, you have to go back to the Course page to access the final test. Click on Exit Activity at the top right of the screen (above the main course screen) and then select Final Test (see right). When you access the test a page opens showing you the maximum number of attempts you have to take the test. If you have already taken the test, a summary of your previous attempts is shown. Select Attempt quiz now (or Re-attempt quiz) to take the test. 14
2.2 Courses: the certificate If you have passed the test and you would like to print out your certificate, you have to go back to the Course page. If the course is completed, and the test has been passed, the Certificate will become available. In order to print out the certificate click on Certificate and follow the instructions. A new window will open with your certificate. You can either save or print it. 15
3 Minimum technical requirements Courses Integrated 16-bit sound card and speakers. Screen resolution of 1024x768 and high color video display (16 bit). Adobe Flash Player 10.0 (or higher, which can be downloaded from www.adobe.com); there is a problem, with 10.0.45.2 version. Please, don t install this version. Internet Explorer (version 8 or higher). Acrobat Reader (version 10 or higher). mp4 and mp3 files viewing enabled - check with your Help-Desk that mp3 and mp4 files (for audio and video viewing) are not blacked my network firewalls. Platform In addition to the minimum technical requirements for the KPMG courses, to make full use of the platform, you will need to have JavaScript activated on your PC. Operating System: Windows Vista, Windows 7 In order to ensure that the platform s tracking system functions correctly, it is highly recommended that you uninstall any extra Toolbars from your Browser (i.e. Google Toolbar, Yahoo Toolbar, etc). 16
