Ankeny Community School District Before & After School Program 2019-2020 School-Year How to Register Gather all information needed to answer the registration form questions. What do I need to complete registration? o Personal contact information o Parent driver s license number(s) o Emergency contact/authorized pick-up person contact information (at least two non-parent contacts) o Doctor name, address, phone number o Dentist name, address, phone number o Emergency Care Facility name, address, phone number o Debit/credit card to pay annual $50.00 non-refundable registration fee On a personal computer (not a mobile device), open the Google Chrome browser. Go www.ankenyschools.org and click on the Online Payments calculator icon. Change Google Chrome settings to allow (unblock) pop-ups for the registration site. Log in to your TouchBase account. Select the child s name for whom you re registering. Under the Shop heading, click the 2019/20 Before and After School Program Registration button.

If you experience a blank screen after clicking the 2019/20 Before and After School Program Registration button, click the refresh button. Click the green Register button. You have arrived at the B/ASP Registration 2019/20 screen! Step 1: BASP Registration Form 2019/20 click the green Fill Out button (if you do not complete your child s registration form in one sitting, the green Fill Out button will change to show In Progress.) The form will pre-populate select information. Be patient there may be a slight delay as the form retrieves the data. Answer all questions on the form. All information is required. Failure to complete the form in full will result in your child s registration being denied which may result in the loss of your child s space in the program. ** Have all required information available to you before beginning the registration to avoid being timed out. If the registration is timed out, all data will be lost and you will need to begin the form again. See above for information needed. ** After responding to all questions, click the green Submit button. If you are not automatically directed back to the main registration screen after clicking Submit, click StudentName s Registration in the upper right corner to be redirected.

Step 1: BASP Registration Form 2019/20 on the main registration screen will read Pending Approval. Move to Step 2: Payment required to complete registration. Click the green Pay button. If you selected a t-shirt size on your child s registration form, click the box next to the $15.00 t-shirt fee. (The form may require you to enter the t-shirt size again.) If you indicated on the registration form that your child has a B/ASP shirt, there is nothing you need to do. Click the blue Pay button. Enter card information for fee payment. Click the blue Pay button. If you are not automatically directed back to the main registration screen after clicking Submit, click StudentName s Registration in the upper right corner to be redirected. Step 2: Payment required to complete registration on the main registration screen will read Approved.

You have now completed your child s 2019-2020 B/ASP School-Year Registration! What s next? There is a button at the top of the screen In Progress Registrations. The registration/payment that was completed will remain in this que until it s approved by central B/ASP office staff. If the registration is denied, you will receive an email from central B/ASP office staff to log in to your TouchBase account to review your child s registration. The reason for the form s denial will show to the right of the Step 1: BASP Registration Form 2019/20. To make the corrections needed (per the reason note) click the green Edit button to return to the registration form. Make the corrections and then click the green Submit button at the bottom of the form. Once the registration is approved, the registration/payment information will move to the Completed Registrations screen. Click the arrow to the left of B/ASP Registration 2019/20 to open a drop down of the completed registration/payment. Next to Step 1 and Step 2, you will see that both have been Approved. You will also see an Edit button next to Step 1. This button is not active and will not be used at this time. If you have any changes to your child s registration information (i.e., change in contract, withdrawal, additional pick-up person, etc.) use the Google change forms located on the program website by clicking here. If you have an additional child to register, return to the top of the instructions and repeat the registration process for the second and each additional child. Some information on the second and additional student forms will prepopulate from your first child s completed registration. If the prepopulated information is inaccurate for the second child, you have the ability to delete and update the information. Be sure to review all questions and data thoroughly before submitting the registration.

To find a history of payment, including the 2019-2020 registration fee, return to your TouchBase account by going to www.ankenyschools.org and click on the Online Payments calculator icon. Log in to your TouchBase account. Select the child s name for whom you registered. Under the Reports heading, click the Reprint Receipts button. The Reprint Receipts category will show all payments made to this child s account, along with billing invoices (note: both receipts and invoices have a Receipt header). Find the amount paid and click View. Under the Reports heading, you can also click the Purchase History button to access the Customer Ledger. This document lists all payments on the student s account. The most recent payment on the account will be listed first. Important Dates: July 28 deadline to make contract changes for August August 1 Fall into Fall Camp registration deadline August 2 August tuition payment due August 5 New Parent Night (orientation) @ Northeast Elementary enter via door S10 (choose one session to attend) Session 1: 4:30 5:15 p.m. Session 2: 6:15 7:00 p.m. August 11 Last day to register to begin B/ASP on the first day of school (pending space available) August 20 Meet the Teacher & Meet the B/ASP Site Leader August 23 First day of school!
