WHAT IS PROTECT? The only government-private sector partnership in the Philippines devoted to promoting security of business, government and the citizenry. Consists of an international exhibition, a high-level conference and networking events on security and safety. CONFERENCE The PROTECT conference series on Doing Business Amidst New Threats is a high-level forum for communicating areas of concern on security matters. Launched in 2005 in partnership with the Anti-Terrorism Council, an aftermath of the 9/11 New York terrorist attack, PROTECT initially focused on the protection of critical infrastructures from terrorist attacks. Through the years, PROTECT accurately predicted emerging threats. From terrorism to pandemics to global financial crisis to natural disasters to cyber attacks, PROTECT now focuses on the latest technologies and organizational system to address threats to business, government and the citizenry. PROTECT brings to realization that all threats to security must be a commonly - shared task between the government and the private sector.
