Current Patch Category Management 12.0.4.2 Note for HPUX, AIX and Solaris Customers: The libz.sl/libz.so is required by RPAS. The PATH environment variable should also include the directory in which it is located on the server. The environment variable for shared libraries is LD_LIBRARY_PATH for Solaris, LIBPATH for AIX, and SHLIB_PATH for HPUX. This shared library typically comes pre-installed on AIX and Solaris operating systems; however, it does not come installed on HPUX servers and is not part of the standard C library. Libz.sl/libz.so may be obtained by contacting your Operating System customer representative. Resolved issues for 12.0.4.2 The table below outlines the list of issues fixed in this release. We are committed to addressing and resolving issues in this solution as soon as possible. Resolved Issue Phase Definition is now available as a Userdefined dimension. Users are expected to make Phase assignments from the Hierarchy maintenance Workbook. Note: This is a non-patchable change and it is assumed that users are at an early enough stage in their implementation process to accept this change. In the Assortment Rationalization template, Item Scorecard tab, a worksheet called Overall Rank was missing. This has been fixed. All measures in the Category Management configuration were associated with the same database. This has been fixed. Measure Analysis Workbook was breaking when trying to access the APl Wp Feature Overall Weight Measure from it. This has been fixed. Histograms are not generated in the Optimization Workbook anymore. This is because the original Dynamic Programming based Optimizer has been replaced by a Knapsack based heuristic (which does not generate the histogram). The new heuristic has significantly reduced execution times (on some benchmarks by more than four orders of magnitude) with very minimal impact on solution quality. Because of the tremendous speedup it is now possible to call the Optimization algorithm interactively (online) from a Workbook. Recalc error received for measure MGWPMSTOX while trying to commit Macro Rationalization Workbook. This has been fixed. Defect Number 5924149 5977847 6000628 5979272 5982230 5973477 Release Notes 3
