Engineering Solutions. Our Capabilities We principally focus on bespoke engineering-led product based solutions for aerospace, naval and marine applications. Our primary customers are the major platform OEMs such as Boeing, Airbus, BAE Systems, Bombardier, Lockheed Martin and Embraer. We also support airlines and major MRO organisations. Our Solutions Our products and services are focused in the area of capability enhancement. In the case of Advanced Composites we are focused on replacing expensive and heavy metallic or low tech composite products with lightweight high tech composite products. Our Capabilities We offer cost effective conversions of turboprops and jets from small business aircraft to large airliners for special mission roles. These missions include reconnaissance, intelligence gathering, communication relays, maritime patrol, search and rescue, border patrol, Medevac and command and control. We are experts in the integration, modification, test and certification of special mission aircraft. Our Capabilities We provide aircraft maintenance, modification, upgrades and conversions for a wide range of civil and military aircraft and have more than 1,800 personnel including designers, engineers, technicians and specialists in several disciplines. Our resources include our own airport with a 1,965m runway and our engineering facilities include hangar space, maintenance bays, paint bays, workshops and design suites. Our support solutions also include project and programme management and supply chain integration. Our Credentials We provide full technical support and conversion design authority for the Royal Air Force s L 1011 Tristar Tanker and full technical support and sister design authority for the Royal Air Force Hercules C-130 aircraft. We are Europe s largest provider of C-130 support solutions to military customers.
