1. Introduction Are you an individual who s opened a personal bank account with us? If so, you may need access to Internet Banking this guide will tell you all you need to know. 1.1 Applying for Internet Banking You can register for Internet Banking via our website but you will need to activate your account after that by visiting one of our branches. On the Internet Banking home page (https://secure.bidvestbank.com/), click on Register. Click on the link under the words Not registered? Complete the required fields and then click on Register. You will then need to visit your nearest Bidvest Bank branch to activate your account, before you can login to your profile.

2. Maintain your username, password and PIN 2.1 Forgotten username Forgotten your username? You can request a reminder via email here s how: On the Login screen, click on Forgotten username. Complete the required information and then click on Get username and Confirm. Your email address must correspond to your registered email address with Bidvest Bank.

You will then receive an email containing your username. 2.2 Forgotten password If you ve forgotten your password, you can reset it by visiting the Login screen and clicking on Forgotten password.

Complete the required information and click on Set Password and Confirm. The email address must correspond to your registered email address with Bidvest Bank. Now capture the one-time PIN you received via email or SMS and click on Set Password and Confirm. You will then receive an email or SMS advising you that your password has been changed (depending on which notification method you have chosen).

2.3 Forgotten PIN If you ve forgotten your PIN, you can change it online. On the Login screen click on Forgotten PIN. Complete the required information and click on Set PIN and Confirm. Your email address must correspond to your registered email address with Bidvest Bank. Capture the one-time PIN you received via email or SMS and click on Set PIN and Confirm. You ll receive an email or SMS advising you that your PIN has been changed (depending on which notification method you have chosen).

2.4 Forgotten password and PIN If you ve forgotten both your password and your PIN, you can select new ones. This is how you reset these: Select your new password and PIN. The branch then needs to activate your profile on the system for security purposes. On the Login screen click on Forgotten PIN. Complete the required information and click on Set PIN and Confirm.

You ll also receive an email or SMS advising you that the PIN was changed and you must visit a branch for activation. Don t forget that you must activate your account by visiting a Bidvest Bank branch before logging into your profile.

3. Managing Your Accounts 3.1 View accounts You can modify your account name displayed on your Internet Banking profile: In the top navigation menu select Accounts and View accounts. Click on Edit details. Click on the Account name field and type in your description, then click on Save details and Confirm. 3.2 View balances Want to view the balances on all of your accounts? In the top navigation menu select Accounts and View balances. A summary of all of your accounts will be displayed.

3.3 View transaction history Need to see a list of your transactions? In the top navigation menu select Accounts and View Transaction history. Select your required date range in the Date from and Date to fields. Click on the View button. A list of transactions for the account you selected will be displayed. On the top right hand side of the screen, click on Click here for details of fees and interest rates to see your banking fees. You can click on Print to print your transaction history or Export to download your transactions to a Microsoft Excel formatted file.

4. Beneficiaries Under this section you re able to add, change and pay your beneficiaries. 4.1 Add beneficiaries Add a new beneficiary or select one from a pre-defined list. In the top navigation menu select Beneficiaries and Add beneficiaries. Capture your one-time PIN received via email or SMS and click on Confirm Here you have the option to capture your own beneficiary details or select from a pre-defined list. Capture the required fields and click on Save details and Confirm.

4.2. View and Pay beneficiaries In the top navigation menu select Beneficiaries and View Beneficiaries. Click on the Pay now button for the selected beneficiary. Verify the From account and To beneficiary account details and capture the required amount to be paid. Click on the Next and Confirm buttons. The system then displays a screen with all the account information that needs to be verified. Click on Pay and Confirm. 4.2.1 View Inactive beneficiaries In the top navigation menu select Beneficiaries, View Beneficiaries and Inactive beneficiaries. Select the required beneficiary from the drop down list.

You can make the beneficiary active again by clicking on the Activate button. 4.3 Edit beneficiaries In the top navigation menu select Beneficiaries and View Beneficiaries. Click on the More button for the selected beneficiary. Click Edit beneficiary. Change the beneficiary details and then click on Save details and Confirm. 4.3.1 Remove a beneficiary In the top navigation menu select Beneficiaries and View Beneficiaries. Click on the More button for the selected beneficiary.

Select Remove beneficiary. The system will then display a message asking if you re sure you want to delete them. Check this carefully and then click on the OK button if you re sure. 4.4 Beneficiary groups For ease of navigation, you can group beneficiaries together, for example Clothing accounts. Beneficiaries must have been created first before linking them to a specific group. 4.4.1 Add Beneficiary groups In the top navigation menu select Beneficiaries and Beneficiary groups. Click on Add and enter your group description, for example Clothing accounts.

Click on Save and Confirm. Now you need to add beneficiaries to this group. Click on the Edit button. Click on the drop down list to select the beneficiary to be linked. Click on the Add button when you ve finished your selection. The screen will be updated to show the beneficiaries that are linked. Click on Save and Confirm.

4.4.2 Pay beneficiary groups In the top navigation menu select Payments and Multiple payments. Select the beneficiary group from the dropdown menu. Click the Next button. The system will retrieve the beneficiaries linked to that group. Multiple beneficiaries can be paid at one time by populating the Amount fields and clicking Pay All.

5. Payments Make payments to external bank accounts by using the options under the Payment tab in the top navigation menu. 5.1 Pay beneficiary In the top navigation menu select Payments and Pay beneficiary. Select the From account and To beneficiary details and capture the required amount to be paid. Note: the system will display the last two payments made to the specific beneficiary, which can be chosen by clicking on the Select button. Click on Next and Confirm. The system displays a screen with all the account information, which you need to verify. Click on Pay and Confirm.

5.2 Once-off payment In the top navigation menu select Payments and Once-off payment Select the From account and capture the required amount to be paid. Click on Next and Confirm Capture the one-time PIN received via email and click on Next and Confirm. Capture the required beneficiary information and click on Pay and Confirm. 5.3 Authorise payments In the top navigation menu select Payments and Authorise payments. The system displays the list of payments waiting to be authorised. Click on Authorise. The system will display a message asking if you are sure. Click on the OK button. The system will change the status of the payment from Authorise to Authorised.

5.4 Recurring payments: Add In the top navigation menu select Payments and Recurring payments. Select a beneficiary from the drop down list and click Add. Capture the one-time PIN received via email or SMS and click on Next and Confirm. Capture the required fields and select the required dates. Click on Next and Confirm. The new recurring payment is now saved and will update on the recurring payment list. 5.5 Recurring payments: Change In the top navigation menu select Payments and Recurring payments. Click on the pencil icon to edit the details of the recurring payment.

Edit the details as required and click on Next and Confirm. 5.6 Future payments In the top navigation menu select Payments and Future payments. Click on the dropdown arrow to select the required beneficiary and click on the Add button. Capture the one-time PIN received via email or SMS and click on Next and Confirm. Capture the required info and click on Next and Confirm.

5.7 Multiple payments In the top navigation menu select Payments and Multiple payments. Click on the dropdown arrow, select the required beneficiary group and click on the Next button. Capture the required amounts and click on Pay All and Confirm. A confirmation message will be displayed if your request has been successfully processed. 5.8 Forex payments The Forex payments functionality allows you to transfer any remaining currency balance on your Visa World Currency Card back to your Bidvest Bank Account on return from your international trip. Funds can only be transferred from a Bidvest Bank Account (ZAR) to a linked Visa World Currency Card and back again.

In the top navigation menu select Payments and Forex payments. Capture the required information on the screen and click on Calculate. The system displays the Commission and the total transfer amount. Select the Location country and click on Accept. The system then displays the travel declaration page. Select the appropriate tick boxes and click on I accept. 5.9 Authorisation history In the top navigation menu select Payments and Authorisation history. Select the required time period and click on the Refresh button.

The system will display the search results. Click on the More information button. The system will display who captured and who authorised the payment. 5.10 Payment history In the top navigation menu select Payments and Payment history. Select the beneficiaries, the required time period and click on Search. The system will then display the search results. You re able to send the proof of payment to an email address or SMS by clicking Send Notice. Capture your email address and any additional notes. Click on the Send button. The system will then generate proof of payment.

5.11 Notification history In the top navigation menu select Payments and Notification history. Select the required time period and click on the Refresh button. The system will then display your search results.

6. Transfers 6.1 Transfer funds You can transfer funds between your accounts in the same currency. Here s how: In the top navigation menu select Transfers and Transfer funds. Select the From account and To account from the drop down lists. Next, capture the amount to be transferred. Click on Transfer and Confirm to initiate the transfer between accounts.

7. Settings 7.1 Personal details View and update all your personal detail information. In the top navigation menu select Settings and Personal details Verify your details on the system and click on Edit details to update your information. Capture the one-time PIN received via email or SMS and click on Next and Confirm. Note: you can request to receive the one-time PIN via SMS. Update the required information and click on Save and Confirm. 7.2 Notifications Set up the types of notifications to be received and the method of delivery i.e. SMS or email. 7.2.1 Client notifications: Add Here you can add notifications from a predefined list available. In the top navigation menu select Settings, Notifications and Client Notifications. In the Add Notification block, select the type of notification from the predefined list and click Add. Select the notification method from the dropdown list.

Click on Save and Confirm. 7.2.2 Client notifications: Change Change the way you are notified of certain things related to your account. For example you may wish to receive an SMS every time you login to your Internet banking. In the top navigation menu select Settings, Notifications and Client notifications. Change each default notification by selecting the pencil icon. The notification method can be changed from email to fax or SMS. Select Save and Confirm

7.2.3 Account notifications: Add Add specific notifications from a predefined list, for example when a deposit is made into your account. In the top navigation menu select Settings, Notifications and Account notifications. In the Add Notification block, select the type of notification from the predefined list and click Add. You can set an exceeded amount i.e. if a withdrawal is greater than a specific amount, then a notification will be sent. Select the notification method from the dropdown list. Select Save and Confirm. 7.2.4 Account notifications: Change In the top navigation menu select Settings, Notifications and Account notifications. Change each default notification by selecting the pencil icon. You can set an exceeded amount i.e. if a withdrawal is greater than a specific amount, then a notification will be sent.

Select the notification method from the dropdown list. Select Save details and Confirm. A message will be displayed if your request has been successfully processed. 7.3 Limits Change your maximum transaction limit and your maximum daily limits. 7.3.1 Transaction limits: Add In the top navigation menu select Settings, Limits and Transaction limits. Click on the Add button. Capture the one-time PIN received via email or SMS and click on Next and Confirm. Capture the limit amount and click on Save details and Confirm.

7.3.2 Transaction limits: Change In the top navigation menu select Settings, Limits and Transaction limits. Click on the pencil icon to edit the amount. Edit the limit amount and click on Save details and Confirm.

7.3.3 Daily limits: Add In the top navigation menu select Settings, Limits and Daily limits. In the Add Limit block, select the type of limit from the predefined list and click Add. Capture the limit amount and click on Save details and Confirm. 7.3.4 Daily limits: Change In the top navigation menu select Settings, Limits and Daily limits. Click on the pencil icon to edit the amount. Edit the limit amount and click on Save details and Confirm.

7.4 Online Banking Settings You can also change your profile defaults, for example the default bank accounts from where you will be transferring funds. In the top navigation menu select Settings and Online banking settings. Edit the required fields and click on Save and Confirm.

8. Need to contact us? 8.1 Bidvest Bank contact details If you want to get in touch with the Call Centre or the Lost cards divisions, select Contact us in the top navigation menu.

9. Help 9.1 Browser not working? You may receive a message that your browser is no longer supported and that you must upgrade to the latest version.
