COMMERCIAL BANKING ONLINE BANKING WITH INDEPENDENT BANK We are excited to introduce you to our unique brand of financial services. As you know, from October 6 9, 2017, we are converting systems to the Independent Bank core processing system. Once complete, you can enjoy all the benefits available to our Independent Bank customers, including the convenience and security of Online Banking. By now you have received a Conversion Kit in the mail, containing details on account conversions, an FAQ (frequently asked questions with answers), and a Products and Services Guide. Enclosed is an updated Reference Guide and Checklist for use as well. As stated in the conversion mailing, we are also providing additional information about our Online Banking. In preparation to successfully log in and access all of the features available in Online Banking, your action is required. Please read below: UPDATE YOUR BROWSER AND USER PROFILE In order to have access to Online Banking on October 10, these two steps should be completed in advance of the conversion. 1. Please call 800.460.6634 option 2 to verify that each user has a current direct phone number, physical address and email on file. 2. You must also have a current Internet browser. Compatible browsers include Google Chrome 37 and later, Microsoft Internet Explorer 11.X, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox 33 and later, or Safari 6-10. OFFLINE OCTOBER 6-9 As we complete the conversion process over the weekend, Online Banking will be unavailable. Beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6, you will not be able to access the Northstar system or input any transfers, Wires or ACH files. Since the Bank will be closed on Monday, October 9 in observance of Columbus Day, full access to our Online Banking system will be available beginning Tuesday morning, October 10, 2017. LOGGING IN You will continue to use your current login ID to access Independent Bank s Online Banking. BALANCE TRANSFERS Future dated or recurring balance transfers (transfers that you make within the Online Banking system from your checking account to your savings account or from your checking account to pay a loan payment) will NOT automatically migrate to the new system. Please print out a record of those transfers before October 6, 2017, and re-enter them after October 10, 2017, on the new system. REMOTE DEPOSIT CAPTURE The Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) system will be unavailable (to make deposits) beginning Friday, October 6, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. The new RDC interface is accessed through the Online Banking platform using your new login. If you have not yet been contacted by Treasury Support, please provide the serial number of your scanner by Thursday, October 5, 2017. ALERTS Any account, security, transactional or date alerts you have set up will NOT be automatically transferred to the new system. You will need to re-enter them after October 10, 2017 on the new system. ESTATEMENTS Prior estatement history will not convert over to the new system. Please print or save any previous estatements prior to October 6, 2017. Your final Northstar statement will be mailed to you shortly after conversion. Beginning October 10, 2017, any new Independent Bank estatements will be available by logging into Online Banking. TOKEN ACCESS Starting October 10, 2017, if your product suite includes ACH, Wires or Business Bill Pay, a token will be required at login. Token instructions will be emailed to you, then new physical tokens will be mailed prior to October 6, 2017 to your address on file. If your product suite does not include ACH, Wires or Business Bill Pay, tokens are not required. Please destroy your existing Northstar Bank token after October 6, 2017. QUICKEN/QUICKBOOKS If you use financial management software (like Quickbooks) in conjunction with Online Banking, remember to redirect your software to the Independent Bank Group connection. FIRST-TIME LOG IN INSTRUCTIONS On or after October 10, 2017 when logging in for the first time, please follow these steps to access the Online Banking portal. 1. Go to: www.ibtx.com. 2. Click on Online Banking to the right of the Log In box, and select First Time User from the list. 3. Click I am a new user.
4. Enter your previous Login ID and click Submit. 5. Select a method of delivery for your secure access code if you don t already have a code. It can be sent by phone call or text message (SMS).
6. Enter the secure access code you have, or the code you received. Click Submit. 7. Create a new password. Click Submit.
8. Verify your profile information and make any necessary changes. Any fields that have an asterisk (*) next to them are required. Click Submit Profile.
9. You will then see the Online Banking Agreement which includes the E-SIGN Act Disclosure. Be sure to read through the agreement. Click I Accept to continue. 10. You will then see the Get Started screen. Click Get Started to continue into Online Banking.
