How to reach Grassroots Academy By Bus From ISBT Kashmere Gate/ Maharana Pratap Bus stand: If you are coming from Himachal Pradesh, J&K Punjab, Hrayana and Uttarakhand, and Meerut (UP) last destination in delhi will be Kashmere Gate bus stand and Grassroots academy is just 10 Km from this bus stand. Take an auto and reach upto Vishwavidyalaya metro station straight on ring road and then follow the map 1 given at the end of this document, or TMS + buses (teevra mudrika Service) going to Azadpur side can also be picked from bus stand and alight at GTB nagar bus stand (15 min), then follow the map 2. Alternatively, if you do not have much luggage most conveneient is to board yellow line metro train towards Jahangir Puri and deboard at GTB Nagar Metro station (15-20 min), exit at gate no. 4 and follow the map 2. From Anand Vihar Bus stand: If you are coming from western including, Bareilly, Moradabad, Lucknow via Bareilly, Gorakhpur etc. last destination in delhi will be Anand Vihar bus stand and Grassroots academy is nearly 20 Km from this bus stand, Choice 1: take auto and follow the map as shown for Vishwavidyalaya metro stain onwards. Choice 2: if you do not have more luggage, take a token till GTB Nagar metro station, board the Blue line metro (at Anand Vihar metro station/ located on bus stand itself) going towards Dwarka and get down at Rajiv Chowk (travel time ~ 30 min). Move to underground yellow line platform and board the train going towards Jahangir puri (Travel time ~ 30 min). Get down at GTB Nagar metro station exit at gate no. 4 and follow the map 2. Buses are less frequent and it will be time consuming. Finally follow the map 2. Note: Anand Vihar Railway station is very close to this bus stand From Sari kale Khan bus stand (Veer Hakikat rai Bus stand) : If you are coming from some parts of western Uttar Pradesh including Agra, Mathura, Jhansi, parts of Haryana (Faridabad), Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh last destination in delhi will be this bus stand and Grassroots academy is nearly 22 Km from this bus stand, Choice 1: take an auto until GTB nagar (you need not to leave ring road) once you reach Vishwavidyalaya metro stain, follow the map 2. Choice 2: TMS (+) buses (teevra mudrika Service) going to Azadpur side can also be picked from bus stand and alight at GTB nagar bus stand, then follow the map 2 (30-40 min). By Flight Domestic Flight usually land at terminal 1D, a regular shuttle bus service with a fare of Rs 30 operated between terminal and Aero city metro station of airport line. Board the airport express line at Aerocity metro station and reach New Delhi metro station (travel time- 15 min), Change the train at this station.
