LOGGING INTO DOCUWARE Open a web browser and navigate to: https://docs.cariberoyale.com/dwwebclient. DocuWare will automatically log you in based on your Windows credentials. 2
UPDATING THE MY DOUWARE SETTINGS Once logged into DocuWare, you can customize your preferences by navigating to the My DocuWare menu. 3
The Favorite Management tab will show all of the cabinets, dialogs, queues, and baskets you have been granted access to. You can determine if you want the items to appear or not by selecting the check box. 4
You can arrange the order you want your items to be displayed by sorting them within the Sort Favorites Tab. Your changes will be saved once Apply is selected. 5
You can have DocWare open in a new window. If you select the Open Web Client in separate browser window in the Customization Tab. 6
ACTIVATING THE ONE COLUMN WITH SEPARATE VIEWER SETTING The One column with separate viewer option will allow for two browser windows to be used; one for searching, viewing items, and modifying index entries and separate viewing window. To activate this view select the middle display icon shown to the left of the Logout icon. Once activated, DocuWare will automatically open a second web browser to view and modify documents. 7
UPLOADING DOCUMENTS TO WEB BASKETS You first need to scan the document on to your desktop computer using any of the means provided to you. Once you have the document you want to store on your PC you use the upload button to open a file browser window to open your document or documents into your web basket. 8
Once the file browser window opens you can navigate to the directory you would like to upload files from and highlight them and click open. You can select multiple documents for upload using the Ctrl key or the Shift key. 9
STORING DOCUMENTS IN DOCUWARE Once you have logged into DocuWare and uploaded documents to your web baskets, you can enable the storage dialog by selecting the Store Dialogs button on the lower right corner. 10
Your Storage Dialog will now appear. All document s that will need processing will be displayed in your Baskets 11
To store your documents into DocuWare, simply drag and drop the document into the Storage Dialog. 12
If you have multiple documents you want to index at one time, select all the documents using the SHIFT key and drag them into the storage dialog, this will allow you to have the viewer window open when navigating through documents. 13
Populate the storage dialog with the appropriate responses and click on the Store button. Note: A list of all previous entry will filter and populate as you are entering your responses. Please select an item from the list if it is the correct response. 14
SEARCHING FOR DOCUMENTS IN DOCUWARE One you have logged into DocuWare a search can be performed by clicking on Standard Search Dialogue 15
The Search Dialog will then appear with a list of all available fields. 16
Enter your desired search criteria; keep in mind that the asterisk (*) can be used as a wildcard. In this example we will search for all documents with an invoice date between June 18 th 2013 and June 19 th 2013 and with a Project Name of Virtual Concierge. Select Enter or Search to submit. 17
The Result List will then appear with all orders matching your search criteria. 18
Double click on one of the documents in the result list for it to appear in the Viewer window. 19
VIEWER NAVIGATION 1. Use these arrows to move between documents in the result list after a search. 2. Use these arrows to move between pages of a document you are currently viewing. 3. These tools are used to send, download, print, email, or manipulate the current documents. 4. Use these tool sets to Zoom, Rotate, or Magnify parts of the page you are viewing 5. Stamps approve, route, or decline workflow documents 6. These tools allow you to annotate the document with notes, pictures, highlighting or redaction 20
BASKET NAVIGATION 1. Use this button to browse your computer and upload selected documents to your web basket. 2. Use this button to staple multiple PDF documents into a single PDF document. 3. Use this button to unstaple a PDF document, turning each page in the PDF into its own document. 4. Use this button to clip multiple different document types together so they are stored as a single doc. 5. Use this button to unclip documents that have been clipped together already. 6. Use this button to hide or unhide your web basket window. 21
