Hello! Welcome to Part 3 of our new online training videos! In this section, we will go over the basics of the technology we use for the Fall Sale Program NutE and QSP NutE is our Fall Sale Programs online database where troops and Fall Sale Coordinators manage their girls & troops orders, funds and rewards. QSP is the home of the Girl Scouts Online Storefront! Both sites can be accessed through links posted on the GSDH website. 1

First lets talk about NutE. To login go to the website: www.ashdonfarmnute.com. Your username is your email address you have on record with Girl Scouts-Dakota Horizons. Your password is superhero17. Once you login, you we be asked to reset your password. 2

The first place you will land after logging in is the Troop Dashboard! Here you will find all of the great information to help you review your troop s Fall Sale Program activity. You can see: if you have a girl order to submit, how many girls are participating and how much your troop has sold in total units or dollars! If you have any questions during the sale, your Service Units Fall Sale Coordinator's contact information is easy to find right here! Please make sure you communicate with your SUFSC through out the sale they are here to help you through the program! Now let s verify all your information to make sure everything uploaded is current! 3

For the Troop Leader or Troops Fall Sale Coordinator, click on the Troop Tab to get started! This will bring you to the page you see here. There are 2 VERY important items to verify Your contact information and your troop bank information. 1 Your contact information in NutE is what the Service Unit and Council rely on to communicate with you throughout the sale. Having an email here is mandatory! 2 You Bank Account information All GSDH council financial transactions are done electronically. Therefore, it is required that you have your troop bank account on file with us. On Oct 2, we will upload all of the bank account information that we have on file. IF this area is blank, we have not received your bank authorization/ach form, which is due Oct 1 st of each year! To do so, visit the GSDH Website, under the forms section. We be uploading these regularly into NutE. The other item you may want to update on this page is Users box. If you plan to have anyone helping you on NutE, you can give them their own login information here. Now that you have all of your information confirmed, we ll review the Girl Order Tab. 4

Once the sale has concluded, this is where you will need to enter your girls orders into the NutE system! But first, lets make sure all of the girls are included! All registered girls will be automatically uploaded into NutE via the GSDH Database starting August 29 th. If you find a Girl Scout that is not listed in NutE this may be an indication that she is not yet registered! Volunteers do not have access to update, add or delete Girl Scouts in NutE. Please check your MyGS account or with her parent prior to contacting us we will be uploading any newly registered girls each Friday throughout the sale. More detailed information on how to enter orders and rewards is in Part 4 End of sale. You can also watch your email for step-by-step instructions coming soon! 5

Another useful tab is the Reports tab where you will find some great reports to help you manage your girls sales! The main reports you will use are the T2 and G2 There are 2 types of each of these reports Let s take a closer look at both of them! 6

These reports can both be used as a receipt when handing out or picking up items! Lets cover the Troop Report first: T2 Nuts/Candy is the summary of your troops sale listing all of the products sold for the troop and the total funds due. T2 Recognitions is the summary of all rewards for your troop this is the list of items you will pick up from the SU. *You should take a copy of this report with you as you meet with your Service Unit to pick up your product and rewards sign 2 copies. One for you, one for the SU. As for the Girl Report: G2 Nuts/Candy is the summary of each girls sale listing her products sold, amount due. G2 Recognitions is the list of the rewards she earned. You should print 2 copies of this report as you meet with your parents/girls to collect funds and hand out their products and rewards have the parents sign both copies. One for you, one for them! Remember! Any time money exchanges hands you should be signing a receipt! 7

Now that you ve learned the basics of Nut-E, lets take a look at QSP that takes the Girl Scouts Fall Sale experience online! Here the girl and her parent will find an easy way to take her Fall Sale Program goals to the next level! More and more people are shopping online! This is where Girl Scouts can build their own Fall Sale QSP Online Store. To get started in this online program watch for an email from QSP/Ashdon Farms on September 18 th. It will contain a link that will take you directly to this online sight and help you get logged in. If you did not receive the email, this may indicate that your daughter is not yet registered with our council. We automatically upload all registered Girl Scouts into the QSP platform and will continue to do so each week throughout the sale. The button to access this website will also be located on our council website! If it is your first time using QSP, click on the button and it will walk you through the registration process. If you are returning, your login information from last year is still valid. 8

This is the Girl Scout s QSP Dashboard! This is the starting point for the Girl Scout and her guardian to begin her journey into online sales in a safe & friendly environment! Let s walk through each of the tabs: Compose Message: Just as this title states, this is the place that you and your Girl Scout will enter her message to be sent to Family and Friends via email. She can state her goal. Add a picture or even create a fun video to show how excited she is to be a Girl Scout! The right side will display an example of what the email will look like and this can be updated at any time! NOTE: Notice on the top right the Shop Now button? This is a direct link to your Girl Scouts QSP Online Store just in case mom and dad want to make a purchase of their own! ;) 9

Another great function - if you have more than one daughter in Girl Scouts you can switch back and forth to each girls site by clicking on the Switch Girl Scout link near the Shop Now button. 9

Manage Contacts - Now it is time to get those email addresses! You can upload from a few of the major email sites or manually enter each email address. Previously entered email addresses will still be here if you are a returning QSP user As will all of your Girl Scouts order history from last years Fall Sale Program Remember! Girls can earn 2 patches right away just by sending emails! 10

The next tab is the Text and Share tab Every year our young girls become more and more tech savvy! Now she can share her QSP Online Store with Family & Friends in so many ways! With this site, each Girl Scout is given a unique link that brings Family and Friends directly to her online store. She can: Text this link from a phone. Post it on Facebook (Personal sites only NO public sales sites) Tweet her message And she can even go a little old School and print out her own business cards! These are great to have on hand as you are out shopping or attending a school or family event! The business card will print from this site with all the information they will need to log on and place an order on your Girl Scouts site! 11

This tab is all about fun! This is where girls will create and customize their own unique superhero patch! Remember from Chapter 2! They more they do, the more they can unlock! **Watch for more fun on our council Facebook and Instagram where you can share your patch designs!** 12

Did you know that Troop Leaders can have their own QSP Online Site? If you are a registered Troop Leader (and you have not opted out of getting emails from GSDH), you will be sent an email from QSP/Ashdon Farms to logon and create or revisit your site. If you are a Troop Leader and have a daughter in Girl Scouts, you will notice when you login, it will give you an option of going to your daughters online store front or your Troop s page. 13

As the Troop FSC, you can send messages to the members of your troop on the Girl/Parent Message Tab! The message will appear on their dashboard when they login and you can also see a history of these communications. Congratulations messages, notes of encouragement, tips for the program or reminders of what s coming up next are all good ideas. 14

On the Girl Activity Tab, you can see each girls online sales activity and view their newest design of their Superhero Cat Patch! You can also send individual messages as you see them approaching their goals! 15

Once the girls have begun designing their own Superhero Cats, you can view their creations on the MyCreation tab. You can also create a troop picture! 16

Congratulations! You ve completed Part 3 and learned all about NutE and QSP. To learn about how to wrap up your Troops Fall Sale continue to Part 4 End of the Sale 17
