1. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The DCH-G020 is a Connected Home Z-Wave Gateway used to control a variety of Z-wave home sensors for the application of home automation. It is able to talk to variety of Z-Wave sensors and communicate with other D- Link connected Home devices. DCH-G020 is a Security Enabled Z-Wave Plus product. 2. INSTALLATION & CONFIGURATION Step 1 Make sure your mobile device connected to the same network as DCH-G020 Step 2 Follow the Quick Install Card to scan the QR code to download the App. Step 3 Install App and run it. Step 5 Add a new device and select Gateway DCH-G020. A. Select Add new device to add a new device. B. Scan device QR code or skip the QR code to manual select the device. Data Sheet Page 4 2/11/2015

Step 7 Find the DCH-G020 and click to select it. Step 8 Enter the Pin Code of your DCH-G020. Data Sheet Page 6 2/11/2015
Step 9 Give a name of your DCH-G020. Step 10 See a DCH-G020 on the device list, then you can continue to add Z-wave sensors or other D-Link Connected Home devices. Data Sheet Page 7 2/11/2015

Make a Group for Devices You can click the Notification to see the triggered information, click Schedule to configure the device working schedule, and click Sign out to log out the device. Data Sheet Page 9 2/11/2015
Advance Configuration Before enter the advance configuration, you need to open an Internet browser on the PC and type http://dch-g020x to login the web page Key-in PIN code to login Manually Firmware Update After successful log-in, you will enter the firmware update page. FW upgrade: Select the FW file first, and then press the Upgrade Firmware button. You can also press the Set Factory Default button to reset the device to factory default value (reset Z-Wave to default in the meantime). Data Sheet Page 10 2/11/2015
Z-Wave Configuration After successful log-in, type http://dch-g020x/zwave.htm on the browser to enter below page. Press Go To Z-wave Page to do advanced Z-wave configuration as below shown. Data Sheet Page 11 2/11/2015
Z-Wave Main Page This page allows the user to do the advanced Z-Wave configuration of DCH-G020. Z-Wave Basic Commands: 1. Include NEW Device / Exclude Device: A device must be "included" to the Z- Wave network before it can be controlled via Z-Wave(DCH-G020). This process (also known as "pairing" and "adding") is achieved by pressing/(hold for 5 seconds) Wireless button on DCH-G020 or pushing the [Include NEW Device]([Exclude Device]) button on GUI being into the inclusion(exclusion) mode. (How to add/remove another Controller (a secondary Controller): same as including a Z-wave node.) 2. Learn Mode: Starts learn mode for DCH-G020 if it is needed to include it in another controller s network. 3. Reset Z-Wave Controller: Reset the Z-Wave controller only. 4. This product can be included and operated in any Z-Wave network with other Z- Wave certified devices from other manufacturers and/or other applications. All non-battery operated nodes within the network will act as repeaters regardless of vendor to increase reliability of the network. Z-Wave Node Page This page allows the user to do the advanced Z-Wave configuration of other Z- Wave sensors. (Please refresh the GUI to show up the newest status) : To remove the failed node. : To replace the failed node. : Send the BASIC SET ON command to switch the node ON. : Send the BASIC SET OFF command to switch the node OFF. : Send the BASIC GET command to the selected node. : (Security) Node 2 is included by DCH-G020 with security : (Non-Security) Node 3 is included by DCH-G020 without security Additional Notes: 1.
