Notes A brief presentation will introduce this lab session. Please follow the lab using the instructions given in this lab guide. Please pay attention to IP addresses and hostnames when entering them for configuration. Typos, can render a configuration unstable. For any exercise, the VMs shown in the diagram at the beginning of the exercise should be booted up. Please refer back to the Lab Environment Details section if required. Be sure to ask your instructor any questions you may have. Thank you for coming to our lab session.

LAB ENVIRONMENT DETAILS Figure: Environment Setup The lab environment consists of 4 VMs. All the VMs are connected on two virtual networks vmnet4 (200.200.200.x) for backup data flow, and "vmnet9 (192.168.1.x)" for initial configuration tasks. The above figure shows all the VMs, their connectivity on the two networks, roles, configuration states, hostnames, and software versions. NBCLIENT is the only VM you will have to directly interact with. The VM NBESXI contains VM VM-LINUX.The nested VM is set for auto boot and auto shutdown along with the NBESXI VM. 2 of 13
