Global Professional Services (GPS) The Global Professional Services (GPS) India COE team was set up in 2009. The COE presence has grown steadily over years and has a significant contribution in delivering Professional Services from the COE. Professional Services comprise of Practice Delivery, Program Management, Resource Management and Portfolio Shared Services at the COE. Our Practice Delivery and Program Management teams continue to expand; we are also setting up new practices that are focused on applications and cloud enablement services. These new units add different dimensions to our evolution and are synergistic to the capabilities we have already built on the existing practices. In addition, we have Resource Management supporting the Americas Theatre region and also the GPS COE Resource management requirements. In the last few years in addition to growth we have significantly taken measures to collaborate with engineering groups co-located in the same facility that has helped our team gain insights into various product line of EMC. To this effect, we have kick started this program with IMG, BRS, and VPLEX groups.
