General General MyPlace allows you to connect to business applications located and managed centrally from the datacenter in Heerbrugg. If your network allows a direct connection to the LGS resources (like in a branch office, SU, ) you are able to login at an internal login page (Section 2.1). When your network does not allow a direct LGS connection (e.g. you are at home, Hotel or the branch office, this is not suitable for a direct connection) you will be able to login at the external login page (Section 2.2) When you do have problems with your login, drive mappings etc. the IT Service Desk is your single point of contact (SPOC) regarding problems and issues.

Requirements 1 Requirements 1.1 Citrix client Please use the Internet Explorer as the default browser to access the Citrix applications For using applications in a Citrix environment a Citrix client must be installed on your client device. If you have used Citrix applications before usually a Citrix client is already installed. Download Citrix Receiver from the link below and install it on your client. If you need assistance installing the software, please contact the IT Service Desk. https://www.citrix.com/products/receiver/ 1.2 Citrix NetScaler (Access Gateway) plugin For using SSL VPN resources your Client needs the Citrix NetScaler (Access Gateway) Plugin installed available from the below link. https://sendit.hexagon.com/link/rduneefu3p5z8lmcumm73q Just click Download and install the plugin with the wizard.

Requirements 1.3 SMS Passcode When you login to MyPlace from the external network you will need an additional SMS passcode for authentication. This SMS passcode will be sent to your mobile device phone number which is registered in our IT system. When you use SMS passcode, be aware that your mobile is online and registered to a network provider to ensure you will receive the SMS passcode. If you changed your mobile phone number please contact the IT service desk to change your mobile phone number associated to your user in the SMS passcode system.

Access login page 2 Access login page To access the login page use the following URL in your browser -> please use only Internet Explorer for best compatibility if possible For financial system user: For standard user: https://hyperion.hexagon.com https://myplace.hexagon.com If you prefer to have a bookmark in your browsers favorites please be sure that only these exact URLs as mentioned above are used not e.g. https://myplace.hexagon.com/vpn/index.html. Do not use URLs containing the domain leica-geosystems.com. Both will cause problems using the MyPlace remote access service. 2.1 Login page using internal access If your network connection allows direct access to the LGS infrastructure you will be redirected to the internal Citrix login page WITHOUT SMS passcode authentication, see below the screenshot: Note: You will not get the options menu as described in Chapter 2.2 You can logon using single sign on using credentials of the currently logged on user. Alternatively you can switch username and password.

Access login page

Access login page 2.2 Login page using external access If your network connection is not suitable to connect directly (for example you are working at Home, in a Hotel, etc.) you will get redirected to the external Citrix login page WITH SMS passcode authentication. You will need a SMS passcode in a second step to login to the Citrix environment (please refer to Section 1.3), see below the screenshot: Enter your SHORTSIGN and Windows password to login to MyPlace. Afterwards the SMS passcode will be sent to your mobile device. Enter the SMS passcode and click Submit

Starting applications After a successful login you will be redirected to the overview of your published applications, or in case of a SSL VPN resource you will see the following options menu (screenshot below): These options are: - Network access: Select this to access SSL VPN resources with the Citrix NetScaler (Access Gateway) plugin, for example you are an external partner with limited access to specific Server/Ports - Virtual App and Desktop Access: Select this to be redirected to the web interface site with the overview of the published applications & desktops (see Chapter 3) - Clientless access: Select this if you do have access to internal websites without the Citrix NetScaler (Access Gateway) plugin If you have selected the wrong Option, please just close the Browser and re-logon to MyPlace. 3 Starting applications When you get redirected to the web interface site you will see the published applications and/or the desktops that are available for you. Select the desired application which you want to start and click on it. If an application is not visible for you, which you should have, please contact the Service Desk for enable the specific application.

Client drive mapping 4 Client drive mapping Note: The Citrix system separates external and internal access (Section 2). If you connect externally your user account has to be in a special AD-group that you get your local drives connect. When your user is not in this special group you ll just have your network drives mapped, without your local drives. Please get in contact with the IT ServiceDesk if you need access to your local drives. When you start an application provided by Citrix your local Windows Explorer drives are being mapped into your Session so you can access and store your data located on your client from/to your Citrix application. In this example, the red marked drives are the local Windows drives which have been mapped into the Citrix session from a sample client. For example, your local available Network Drive "F:" would be mapped into Citrix named as "F$ (\\client)", the local drive "C:" would be mapped into Citrix named as "C$..", your "H:" drive is in Citrix named as "H$..." etc. If you connect a USB stick to your client, the drive list within the Citrix session will be automatically updated. (Sample screenshot) Note: The client drive letter in Citrix does not have to be the same as your local drive letter. You also do have a drive V:\ where you can store Data within the Citrix environment so you do not need to copy your data always from your client to the Citrix application. Store your files in the V:\ drive for best file access performance within your applications.
