Transcription:

MPLS Dax Layer 3 Advanced Gigabit GX series switches are built with 24 / 48 port 1G ports and maximum of 4 # 10G SFP+ ports. Select models have power over ethernet (POE) options supporting standards such as IEEE 802.3af, IEEE 802.3at, IEEE 802.3bt. All models have a modular power supply with 2 slots in each switch, thereby providing 1+1 redundancy option. Dax Layer 3 Advanced Gigabit GX series switch is power packed with the complete Layer 3 routing protocol suite including RIP, OSPF, BGP4, VRRP, MPLS and other rich software features including advanced Quality of Service, IPv6, high security with DOS protection, VLAN. With this attractive feature set, the Dax Layer 3 Advanced switches are perfect for the Aggregation level in both mid-size and large enterprises. All features are suitably enabled on the basic switch software. This makes it usable right from day one and eliminates the need to invest on separate software images or additional memory to realize full potential of the switches. The Operating temperature of the switch ranges up to 50 C which also confirms to industrial range application. Green-Energy IEE802.3BT HIGH POWER POE- 60W Temperature monitoring, alarming, automatic cooling, energy saving features are realized on DX-05XXGX-L3 series. According to the temperature monitored by the switch, switch automatically adjusts Fan speed or stops the fan to reduce energy consumption and noise Key Feature v Static routing, RIP, OSPF, BGP4 for Ipv4/ Ipv6, VRRP v IPv4/IPv6 Dual Protocol Stack with IPv6 Phase II implementation RPS v9igmp v1/v2/v3, PIM SM/DM/SSM, MLD v1/v2, MLD snooping v1/v2 v Anti IP packet DOS attack/ packet attack v MRPP Ring Redundancy v 4 # 10G SFP+ ports v IEEE 802.3at, IEEE 802.3bt hgh power POE support v Redundant power supply

Advanced Routing Dax Layer 3 Advanced Gigabit GX series switches deliver hardware based IP routing for both IPv4 and IPv6. RIP v1/v2, OSPF v2 and BGP4 provide dynamic routing by exchanging routing information with other Layer 3 switches and routers. DVMRP, PIM-SM, PIM- DM and PIM-SSM Multicast Routing Protocols send IP multicast traffic from one subnet to another to support maximum data streams. IGMP snooping features forwarding of multicast packets for live streaming of voice and data without any swell up in network broadcast congestion. VRRP prevents your system from failing by dynamically backing up multiple L3 switches for routing. Comprehensive QoS Dax Layer 3 Advanced Gigabit GX switches supports 8 queues per port to enable differentiated management of up to 8 traffic types. Traffic is prioritized according to IEEE802.1p, DSCP, IP precedence and TCP/UDP port number, giving optimal performance to real-time applications such as voice and video. Bi-directional rate-limiting, per port or traffic class preserves network bandwidth and allows full control of network resources. Resiliency Dax Layer 3 Advanced Gigabit GX series switches support Rapid and Multiple spanning trees as per the IEEE standard. The availability of spanning tree supports the elimination of network loops. Link aggregation or port aggregation helps combine speeds by bundling multiple links and offering a high speed link catering to the network demand. Dax Layer 3 Advanced Gigabit switches support MRPP which is a ring protection protocol and aids in reducing network convergence time in a ring topology network. IGMP snooping prevents flooding of IP multicast traffic and limits bandwidth intensive video traffic to selected users. Virtual Switch Framework Virtual Switch Framework could virtualize multiple Dax switches into one logical device, achieves the sharing of information and data tables between different switches. The performance and ports density of virtualized device are greatly enlarged by many times under VSF. VSF also provides simplified management work for network administrator and more reliability. Enhanced Security DX-05XXGX-L3 series support IEEE 802.1X port-based access control and MAC-based access control to ensure all users are authorized before being granted entry into the network. Access Control Lists (ACLs) can be used to restrict access to sensitive network resources by denying packets based on L2/ L3/L4 header information. Secure Shell (SSH) encrypts network management information via Telnet for secure network management. RADIUS Authentication enables centralized control of the switch and restricts unauthorized users from altering the configuration of the switch. Anti DoS attacks ensures high security to the network.

MPLS Dax Layer 3 Advanced Gigabit GX series switch supports MPLS L3 VPN/MPLS L2 VPN(VPLS) and helps customer to construct more secure/extendable network. With max.255 VRF instances, DX-05XXGX-L3 series switches could be deployed as P & PE devices, guarantees the variety of services. 60W PoE support DX-0552GTX-L3-POE switch supports IEEE 802.3af, IEEE 802.3at, IEEE 802.3bt PoE standard and totally 740W PoE output. IEEE 802.3bt is supported on up to 8 ports and IEEE 802.3at is supported on all ports. IPv6 Dax Layer 3 Advanced GX series Gigabit switches support IPv6 routing in hardware for maximum performance. As the number of network devices increase and the need for larger IP addressing and higher security becomes critical, the Dax Layer 3 Advanced Gigabit switch is the right product to meet requirements. Furthermore, the Dax Layer 3 Advanced Gigabit switches support phase II implementation of Ipv6 with complete routing and management features.
