Virtually every aspect of the trading dashboard can be customized to suit your personal preferences and specific trading style. PLACE ORDERS The new trading platform now offers far more flexibility, speed and order types than before. NEW TRADING TOOLS In addition to more control and more speed, the new OptionsHouse delivers more trading power thanks to smart new tools like the Trade Generator. p.
EXPLORE THE DASHBOARD MAIN TABS The four primary navigation tabs Account, Options, Research, Tools are located at the top of the trading window. Go to Standard Platform ACCOUNT INFORMATION Your account information current account, buying power, and account value remains located in the upper right-hand corner of the platform. This information is available no matter what screen or tab you re on. CLICKABLE BLUE LINKS Click on any blue text link to activate an action menu that enables you to open an order ticket, add a stock to your Watchlist, or set an alert with one click. p.
EXPLORE THE DASHBOARD 4 6 5 4 UNIVERSAL SYMBOL SEARCH The quote search field at the top of the platform now makes finding a stock easier and faster by offering a smart lookup that instantly shows you search results as you type in the symbol or company name. 5 MESSAGE CENTER The Message Center icon is in a convenient location to allow you to quickly preview or open Message Center messages. 6 STREAMING DATA In the new OptionsHouse platform, all data and quotes are streaming and refresh automatically. p.4
NAVIGATE THE PLATFORM & 4 ACTION MENU The action menu is a selection of available actions that appears when you click on any blue link, button or arrow icon. PANE A pane is a box within the platform that you can populate with a wide range of items such as a stock quote, news, Watchlist, etc. WIDGETS Widgets are smaller panes that run along the right-hand side of the platform. Widgets can also be popped out of the dashboard so they remain open on top of other windows or views. 4 COMPONENTS Components are the tools, content or other items you can load into a pane or widget using the action menu. p.5
NAVIGATE THE PLATFORM 5 MENU BUTTON The small arrow icon is located in the corner of every window. The menu button opens an action menu which allows you to customize a widget or pane with any component or tool. 6 HELP BUTTON The help icon gives you quick access to information or help for that specific component or tool. 7 TOOL BAR The tool bar features buttons that give you the ability to launch key trading windows, open a trade ticket, or manage your accounts. 7 p.6
CUSTOMIZE YOUR VIEW CHANGE LAYOUT You can change the layout of your trading view to one of the 4 layouts provided, giving you more control and flexibility over your trading view. RENAME TABS Each of the main tabs can be renamed to personalize your trading view. CUSTOMIZE WINDOW CONTENT Every window in the trading view can be populated with almost any component or tool in the platform. This enables you to create customized views to suit your trading. p.7
CUSTOMIZE YOUR VIEW 5 4 WIDGETS All widgets can be launched into their own window so you can create a customized view ideal for multiple monitors. Widgets on the right side of the platform can be collapsed to provide more room for main windows. 4 5 LINKING MULTIPLE WINDOWS BY SYMBOL Windows, widgets and panes showing a stock symbol are linked together to the universal symbol search. You can also unlink select windows, widgets or panes to show other symbols to further customize your view. p.8
PLACE ORDERS INTEGRATED TRADE TICKET The trade ticket can be launched with one click from most windows throughout the platform, making it easier and quicker to execute a trade. Spread Chain: AAPL COMPLEX ORDER TICKET The advanced order ticket now allows for all new types of orders: OCO (order cancels order), OTO (order triggers order), OTOCO (order triggers OCO), OTT (order triggers two orders). FASTER SPREAD TRADES You can now trade spreads right from the options chain with one click thanks to the multiple spread chains available from the drop down. p.9
