Introduction: In order to advance growth internationally, PDA International understands the importance of expanding access to the training of new Certified PDA Analysts worldwide. With such an increase in the training provided, it is also important to maintain a high standard within the PDA Analyst Certification Seminars globally. In order to achieve this goal, PDA International considers fundamental development and continual support of a body of certified PDA Trainers. With this purpose, PDA International developed the PDA Trainer Certification. The PDA Trainer Certification was created not only to ensure orderly and successful procedures that allow a proper and adequate transfer of knowledge, but also to help generate, consolidate and maintain a dynamic and close relationship with this knowledge. The goal of this process is to help guide and support the training, development, tracking, support and control of the PDA Trainers. Only PDA International can modify this certification process, and any changes should be properly documented. ~ 3 ~

Outlined below is a detailed description of what steps need to be followed in order to ensure the success of the Training Program for PDA Trainers: A- PDA Trainer Profile We could start by saying that anyone with a solid PDA knowledge and good communication skills could successfully work as a PDA Trainer. However, we believe it is important that the PDA Trainer has a professional background in the field of Human Resources. It is also important to have professional experience giving presentations in different fields (educational, business), along with the use and implementation of the PDA Assessment or other behavioral assessment tools. B- PDA Administrator Profile PDA Administrators train PDA Trainers and certify their level of knowledge, accordingly with the steps outlined in this document. In order to work as a PDA Administrator, a PDA Trainer must have a PDA International Certification and be part of the Record of PDA Administrators. PDA International certifies professionals who have acquired, through courses and professional experience on the field, a solid knowledge of the PDA tools. In addition, to be a PDA Administrator the person should have facilitated, as a PDA Trainer, at least 10 PDA Analyst Certification Seminars. They should also demonstrate good communication skills, and high qualities as a consultant and as a Human Resources professional. C- PDA Trainer Responsibilities PDA Trainers will train the PDA Analysts and certify their knowledge through PDA Certified Analyst Seminars, which covers the following: The History of the Development of the PDA Tools and Assessment Rationale and Theoretical Basis Uses and applications of the PDA Information Interpretation of Graphs and Reports Online Platform Management It is important to remember that the PDA Trainers must be completely prepared to give and coordinate the PDA Analyst Certification Seminars. This means that, although the seminar can be organized and co-ordinated by a team of people, the PDA Trainer is the individual who must direct the team regarding the organization, invitations, confirmation of the participants, the printing of handbooks and every aspect of the activity the main goal being the success of the process. ~ 5 ~
D- Basic Requirements 1) PDA Analyst Certification: In order to be trained and certified as a PDA Trainer, it s fundamental that the future PDA Trainer is first a Certified PDA Analyst. If the candidate has been trained and certified as a PDA Analyst, they can begin their training to become a PDA Trainer. Otherwise, they should attend the training before. The training and certification to become a Certified PDA Analyst can be made either through on-site seminars or online, via Skype. 2) Experience on the Field: We consider it important and of great value that a Certified PDA Analyst has had their own experience in the field with the use and interpretation of the PDA Assessment tools. It is a requirement to have participated in personalized feedback sessions and to have experience in the use of the PDA Assessment in the area of Human Resources. E- Training of PDA Trainers The goal is to prepare future PDA Trainers to co-lead a PDA Certification activity together with the Administrator. To successfully complete this stage, it is important that the future PDA Trainer has previously read and studied the PDA Analyst Certification Seminar PowerPoint Presentation and the Macro Seminar. The documents required for this stage are the PDA Analyst Certification Seminar PowerPoint and the Macro Seminar. This Training Stage to become a PDA Trainer is lead by PDA Administrators: it is a day long session and is divided into two stages: 1) Review of the PDA Seminar PowerPoint This stage focuses on the contents of the seminar. It involves doing a thorough and detailed review of the PDA Seminar PowerPoint, slide by slide. Throughout this review the PDA Administrator must make sure that the future PDA Trainer consistently demonstrates knowledge of each topic and of each PowerPoint slide. The Administrator will cover each topic: the different theories, the PDA axes, and the in-depth performance indicators, making sure that the future PDA Trainer grasps not only the concepts, but can also share experiences, study cases, examples, and situations that allow them to go beyond what is being presented in the slide. One important aspect that needs to be well-explained to the new PDA Trainer at this stage, is the origin of data, value, axis, axis combination or combination of other indicators that can exist in the PDA Chart. Always keep in mind that the goal is to prepare the future PDA Trainer to lead a group, along with the Administrator. ~ 6 ~
2) Macro Seminar Review This stage focuses on the organization and dynamics of the process. This is another responsibility of the Administrator: to review in detail the contents of the "Macro Seminar". The Macro Seminar describes aspects related to the organization, the invitations, the study materials, and actions to be taken by future Analysts before starting the activity (Preliminary Reading material and E-learning), logistics and equipment and exercises, etc. The Administrator will explain thoroughly each part of the Macro Seminar (including invitations, study materials, agenda, dynamics and exercises, etc.). F- First Joint Certification This certification involves the organization, coordination and presentation of the PDA Analyst Certification Seminar, by the PDA Trainer and the Administrator jointly. There are two (2) main goals: 1. Certify the participants as PDA Analysts 2. Prepare the PDA Trainer to certify new PDA Analysts To ensure the success of this learning activity to achieve these two main goals, it is important that this certification be provided to a smaller group, allowing for a more one-on-one experience. Thus, this certification should take place only between 3 and 5 participants. The activity is divided into 3 stages: 1) Preparation: It s the Administrator s responsibility to work together with the future PDA Trainer in the preparation and co-ordination of the activity. They will work on the preparation of the study materials for the activity (PPT, worksheets and case studies) and the materials for the participants (PPT, handbooks, case studies, exercises, etc.). They are also responsible for everything related to the organization (invitations, meeting room, technology, coffee breaks and lunches). The new PDA Trainer should only focus on the effort to facilitate the contents and guide the dynamics and practical exercises. 2) Presentation: The PDA Trainer focuses on the PPT and the Administrator provides support when cases, examples, exercises and explanations are more complex. It is important that the Administrator not interfere with the Trainer s presentation, ignoring any errors or mistakes. Any suggestions and corrections should be made privately during breaks or lunches. ~ 7 ~
3) Consolidation: This meeting requires approximately 2 to 3 hours and is the responsibility of the Administrator. The materials required are the PDA Macro Seminar and all the PDA Certification Seminar materials that are in Google Docs. This activity consists of a meeting to be held once the first Joint Certification Seminar has been completed. During this meeting, first, there s a review of the dynamics of the activity, and then of the issues related to the organization and logistics. When reviewing the dynamics of the activity, the Administrator must create a space for the new PDA Trainer to express their concerns and answer them. The idea is to finalize all aspects related to the contents as well as to make a brief review of the exercises. While reviewing issues related to the organization and logistics, issues such as invitation e- mails, participants confirmations, preview reading material, PowerPoint, and handbooks will be reviewed. It is important to send the Google Docs link to the new PDA Trainer, so that they can download the material for the PDA Seminar. G- PDA Certified Analysts Registration & Certificates As mentioned before in the instructions, the person responsible of the seminar sessions, PDA Trainer, will have the additional task to send an e-mail to pdaseminar@pdainternational.net with the list of participants including the following contact information: Full Name (Name and Surname), Organization and e-mail address. The participants information must be sent to PDA International following the purpose of maintaining an updated record of the PDA Certified Analysts database. In those cases the trainer does not send the information to PDA International the participants will not be able to access to the PDA information because they would not appear on the main records. Once the Certification Seminar is finished, the PDA Trainer will send the PDA satisfaction survey and PDA Certified Analyst Registration email to the participants, which invites them to complete the Satisfaction Survey. This will automatically inscribe the participants in the PDA International Certified Analyst Register and generate and deliver the digital PDA Certified Analyst Diploma. Each PDA Trainer will receive a confirmation e-mail as their PDA Seminar Feedback once the participants of the seminar complete their survey. The PDA trainers are responsible of keeping track and control of this procedure to ensure that each participant is registered in the PDA International Analyst Network and they receive their PDA Analyst Diploma. The PDA Trainer is responsible for following and controlling this procedure in order to make sure all the participants are properly registered and have received their own PDA Certified Analyst Diploma. ~ 8 ~
H- Training & Support In order to achieve and maintain the quality of the PDA Analyst Certification Seminars globally, PDA International requires feedback from the Certified Analysts. Once the Certification Process is over, PDA International will send an email inviting the new PDA Analysts to rate the activity. This email will include a link to a website with a simple questionnaire asking about the different aspects of the activity. With this information, PDA International helps PDA Trainers achieve and maintain the quality of their seminars. Additionally, the Administrator as well as the Training Support Department of PDA International will continue to support and assist the PDA Trainers on their development. If the PDA Trainer wants to further develop his professional profile, and achieve a deeper and more complex PDA knowledge, potentially becoming a PDA Consultant, he may participate in the PDA Consulting University provided by the PDA Consulting Department. I- Documents, Study Materials and Updates PDA International considers it important to use and maintain a corporate image of excellence through the study materials and documents used in the PDA Analyst Certification Seminars. With that purpose, PDA International provides all documents and study materials to be used in the different activities. That s why PDA International has developed a list of updated documents, which include the latest versions of each of the documents necessary for the activities. All the latest versions are exactly the same in all languages and are available online. To access study materials and documents the Administrator must send the new Trainer the Google Docs link and always use the latest versions of all documents. PDA International understands that all study materials can be improved in their image, contents, etc. Therefore, we encourage the Administrators to invite the PDA Trainers to send us via email (pdaseminar@pdainternational.net), any suggestions on changes / improvements. Due to the use of multiple languages and other features, the update process of PDA study materials and documents is complex. That is why we consider it important for PDA International to receive suggestions and ideas in order to analyze and evaluate them, with the purpose of implementing the most convenient changes. ~ 9 ~
