Dear member of the Defence & Security industry sector, The Canadian Military Intelligence Association will be hosting the fourth annual Canadian Intelligence Conference (CANIC) on Tuesday October 25 th, 2016 at the Diefenbaker Building in Ottawa. CANIC is intended to provide a focused opportunity for discussion and debate on issues related to the Canadian intelligence enterprise, but also provide a venue for industry to showcase new solutions and technologies relevant to the domain. The program will include high-level keynote speakers such as the National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister, the Minister of National Defence, the Chief of the Defence Staff, and the Commander of Intelligence Command. We anticipate a sizeable audience from the Defence Intelligence community in Canada and abroad, and including intelligence professionals within various government departments and agencies. Participation from industry partners has been a key component to the overall success of the conference. Therefore, I invite you to participate in both the conference and as an exhibitor. Not only will it be an informative conference, but also an effective venue to showcase your company s products and services to an exclusive group of users and decision-makers. A Sponsor/Exhibitor Infosheet is attached for your information. Registration for CANIC will start can be found at www.canic-2016.eventbrite.ca (password: silverstar). To optimize exposure, industry exhibits will be situated in the Ottawa Room, which is next to the main conference hall (see enclosed diagram). Booths are available for a cost of $1000 each. A limited number of booths are available, so it is recommended that you book early. The Ottawa Room will be used for coffee breaks, lunch and the reception afterwards. A Sponsorship package is available for each of these events as well. The benefits and cost are included in the Sponsor/Exhibitor Infosheet. We fully expect that will be well attended by many who have a stake in this important function. Consequently, if you are involved or want to be visible in this elite field, then this is an occasion not to be missed. Your participation and sponsorship will greatly enhance its success and no doubt raise your profile within this unique and highly experienced group of intelligence experts.
