The ComNet NetWave line consists of an easy, pre-packaged Point-to-Point kit that contains everything you need to establish remote connectivity to Ethernet edge devices. Also available are Point-to-Multipoint models that allow multiple client/camera/networked edge device locations to connect to a single access point. NetWave will support throughput of up to 240Mbps in a single radio version and 145Mbps in the dual radio models and supports a wide range of Ethernet devices. NetWave is secure and uses encryption to prevent unauthorized access to the network. The industrially hardened units also offer the option to be powered by the included Injector or by an IEEE 802.3af/at switch. A Complete Point-to-Point Wireless Ethernet Solution These preconfigured kits include a factory-paired Access Point and Client, plus the power supplies and mounting equipment to install and connect them. The NetWave NWK series is a complete package containing everything you need to transmit a single Ethernet data stream between a Client remote location and the Access Point or head end. Point-to-Multipoint The NetWave NW series user-configurable units can be configured through the embedded User Interface as a Client or as an Access Point. The NetWave NW series are available as hardened NW1 and NW2 models, and commercial NW3 and NW4 models and region-specific models for North America and Europe. These point-to-multipoint models allow multiple Ethernet endpoints to be connected to a central Access Point. An easy to read LED array displays unit operational status along with received signal strength ensuring optimal installation and operation. The NW1 and NW2 models may be powered from a source. Hardened Dual Radio Wireless Ethernet The NetWave [E] dual radio models are designed for redundant ring, and drop & repeat applications. Radio 1 can be configured for 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz operation and connects to an external antenna. Radio 2 supports 5 GHz operation and is connected to the 19 dbi internal antenna. These units support up to 145Mbps throughput using MIMO technology. The units can be powered by an IEEE 802.3af/at compliant switch or through a supplied power injection module. PSE is standard on the [E]; port 1 supports IEEE 802.3at PD power, port 2 sources IEEE 802.3at PSE power for powering IEEE 802.3at PD connected devices.
