The purpose of this document is to provide licensed users of the E2 Shop System with the most up to date information regarding changes made in this release. If you have any questions about this update, contact Shoptech Technical Support at (888) 438-6025 or techsupport@shoptech.com. This update includes the following changes: Enhancements and Changes in Functionality: 1. Development has made several changes to enhance email functionality in E2 Shop. In this release, The Miscellaneous Utilities and the Mass Update Utility have been disabled if the User has any other Open Areas in E2 Shop. A Warning message is received stating the following: "Warning! Processing for the current utility has been temporarily disabled. This is done to prevent the utility from interfering with any unsaved progress in other areas of the system. Please close all open areas to continue with these utilities." Page 1

Special Note Several E2 Shop users have reported an issue where an image was overlapping a dropdown box which prevented them from clicking the dropdown to view the options. Several adjustments can be made to Chrome Settings that may prevent this from occurring: Click the Restore/Maximize button ( ) to have the browser resize. This will change the size of the browser and may adjust the alignment to allow the user to click on the dropdown box. The browser might be zoomed in. Click the on the top right of the browser and the user can adjust their zoom. The browser might have a larger text than what is set as default by Chrome. Chrome default settings are: Font Size set to Medium and Page Zoom set to 100%. To adjust this, click content section to make adjustments. and go to Settings. At the bottom of the page, click Show advanced settings. Navigate to the Web The immediate work around would be for the user to click into the field (not the dropdown arrow) and use the down button on their keyboard to view the options. Have the user navigate to their desired selection and tab off. This will make the selection for the user. Page 2

Development has modified the code so that the system will only return records that lie within the selected time frame. When running the Checkbook Register for an entire month, there were days where the results did not match what was expected. Development has modified the code to correct the 'Balance' calculation, so that the results will match what was expected. A Customer reported that the General Ledger Account filter was not being applied to the Vendor, Vendor Type, or Tax Code Breakdowns on the Vendor Invoice Summary. Development has modified the code to apply the filter to these Breakdowns. It was reported that the user was not able to balance their Bank Reconciliation. Development has modified the code to help ensure that it will calculate properly. The reported issue was the Sales Tax Amount was not matching the results in Pro. It was found that a Billing Invoice with multiple line items was not rounding at the correct time in the code to calculate properly. Development has modified the code to have the Sales Tax be applied correctly, and rounded at the proper time. A customer reported that emailed message bodies were being saved from previous emailed messages. Development has modified the code to expand the field, and the comments are no longer being cut off. It was reported that if a user created a check for a Vendor Invoice, and then ran the Accounts Payable Aging Summary with the 'As-Of Date' equal to the current date, the system would still include checks created today on the report. However, if they changed the 'As-Of Date' to tomorrow, then the check was not listed. Development has modified the code to allow these invoices to fall off the report after they are paid. It was reported that when emailing reports directly out of a browser's PDF viewer, it was not possible to add contacts from the "Contact" menu. Development has modified the code to allow contacts to be selected from the "Contact" menu when emailing reports. It was reported that the Employee Payroll Breakdown report was not sorting by Employee Code. Development has modified the code to sort the Employee Payroll Breakdown report by Employee Code. A customer was receiving an error message when creating an order from a quote for a free form customer. INTERIM BUILD -Rel.6 (3/6/17) AR Data Collection - Usage Vendors are not listed alphabetically on the Auto Check Writing screen Unable to zero out the Unit Price field on an Invoice Bar-coded list of common scan gun actions is not responding as expected Bank Reconciliation's Adjusted Balances and Out of Balance amounts do not match expected results The First Check in Auto Check Writing is not saving after it is changed Creating an Auto Check with over max 15 line items does not create the second check properly The Customer has reported that Vendors were not listed in alphabetical order on the Automatic Check Writing screen. Development has modified the code to order Vendors alphabetically on the Automatic Check Writing screen. A Customer reported that the Unit Price on an Invoice could not be changed. Development has modified the code to allow the Unit Price on an Invoice to be changed. It was reported that certain bar-coded actions were not responding correctly when using a scan gun with the E2 Data Collection service. The code has been modified to help ensure that bar-coded actions will respond as expected when using a scan gun. When the user entered the Bank Reconciliation page the 'Adjusted Bank Balance', 'Adjusted Book Balance', and the 'Out of Balance Amount' did not match the expected results. Development has updated the code by modifying the queries that were calculating the 'Adjusted Book Balance' and the 'Out of Balance Amount'. The Customer reported that any change made to the First Check field on the Automatic Check Writing screen would not hold. Development has modified the code to make changes to the First Check field hold. The issue reported was writing a check using Auto Check Writing and selecting more than the max Invoices (15). The system would break it down into two checks, which is correct, but the second check would have the wrong Check Amount. The second check should have the total value of the remaining Invoices instead of the total of all the Invoices that were selected. Purchasing Inventory Purchasing Inventory Aging not showing specific invoices if they have been paid Attendance record and time ticket are showing incorrect hours when a shift spans midnight Line Items are doubling each time a Request For Quotation is edited Job Requirements entered on an Order have incorrect dates Job Requirement Summary's 'Group By' filters do not display correct information Duplicating Material reported on Job Requirements It was found that when running the Aging Summary report as of a specific date, certain invoices were not showing. Upon further research it was found that if these invoices were paid on a date after the specified date, the invoices would not show...even if they weren't paid as of that date. A code change was made to change the query for what appears on the report and now if the invoice is not paid on the As-Of- Date, it will appear on the report. It was discovered that a shift which spanned midnight, and had an automatic break set up prior to midnight, was not calculating times correctly on the associated time ticket and attendance record. The code has been modified so that shifts which span midnight, and have an automatic break set up prior to midnight, will write the correct times to the associated time ticket and attendance record. A Customer reported that the Line Items on a Request For Quotation were doubling after an entry was edited. Development has modified the code to prevent Line Items from doubling when a Request For Quotation is edited. User reported invalid dates showing in the Fill Job Requirements Order By Date. Development has corrected an issue when adding Job Requirements to an Order on the fly which created the invalid dates. When running the Job Requirement Summary and selecting a 'Group By' option, the system didn't display all the data correctly. Development has updated the code to display according the user selected 'Group By' option. Customer reported Job Requirements duplicating on some. AR Quoting Purchasing Purchasing Creating a new Invoice by entering the Job receives an 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object' prompt Unknown exception when editing a customer with a NULL contact Attendance record not properly updating to reflect edited clock out time The Purchase Order does not find a RFQ if the user copied it to create a new RFQ One line item on a Purchase Order is showing a "Misc/Tooling Charge" on the printed Purchase Order form. The reported issue was that the user received an 'Object Reference' error when creating a Billing Invoice by entering the Job in the Line Item grid. Development has updated the code to allow the user to create an Invoice from the Job entered in the Line Items grid. Customer reported an error when attempting to edit a Customer Table. It was found the Customer Contact had a blank Name Field causing the error. Development has modified the code to prevent a blank Name Field from causing an error. It was reported that the "Elapsed Adjusted Hours" field on a Time Ticket was not updating when changes were made to an employee's clock times. The code has been modified so that the "Elapsed Adjusted Hours" field will now update properly to reflect any changes made to an employee's clock times. The reported issue was that the user could not find the RFQ's they created when trying to create a Purchase Order from an RFQ. It turns out that the RFQ the user is copying to create a new one had its line items removed. This prevented the user from being able to see their desired RFQ from the Purchase Order. Development has updated the code to have the line items on the source RFQ remain when copying RFQs. It was reported that a specific printed Purchase Order form in the customer's data was showing a "Misc/Tooling Charge" line when no items on the Purchase Order had a miscellaneous charge assigned. The code has been modified to help ensure that a printed Purchase Order form will not show a "Misc/Tooling Charge" line when no miscellaneous charges have been assigned to the items on the Purchase Order being viewed. 170210209186 170214209685 170213209407 170216210317 170216210445 Page 7

Upgrade Tables Performance Issues in Repository Manager on hosted site Work Order Report is showing closed jobs Validation Message when changing the Billing Address is inconsistent Order Comments not showing in the Notes Column on Order Navigator Customer reported performance issues loading and navigating in the Repository Manager when a large number of directories exist. Development has modified the code to speed the loading and navigating of folders in the directory tree. Customer reported closed jobs were being listed on the Work Order report. Development has removed closed jobs from generating on the Work Order report. The reported issue was that a Validation Message was inconsistent as to when it should generate. The user received this prompt when entering a value in 'Billing Line 1' of the Customer while the 'Shipping Address Line 1' field was blank. Development has updated the code to place a check in the code to verify the 'Billing Line 1' doesn't equal the 'Location Code' in the Shipping section. Customer reported the Notes Column in the Order Navigator was not populating data. INTERIM BUILD -Rel.4 (2/23/17) AR Cash Receipt on the fly has incorrect Navigator 'Amount' check is not clearing out values on an old line item, after a new Vendor is chosen The reported issue was the amount listed on the Cash Receipt Navigator didn't match the value of the Cash Receipt when it was created on the fly. Development noticed that each time the user edited a line item, it was adding more to the data object. They have updated the code to now save the data correctly so the Navigator displays the correct amount. It was reported that an Accounts Payable check was retaining values from currently selected invoices after choosing a new Vendor, which should have removed those values from the check. The code has been modified to ensure that selecting a new vendor on a Accounts Payable check will clear out any invoice values currently shown on the check. 170220211178 170217210718 Issue when attempting to post a month which contains a free form check It was reported that a user attempting to post a fiscal month which contained a "free form" check would receive a notice that their month was out of balance, and the ensuing Exception Report would then list the "free form" check. The code has been modified so that users will be able to post fiscal months containing "free form" checks without receiving an Exception Report. 170217210711 Purchasing Purchase Order showing duplicate release in the Line Item Details Customer reported the release dates on Purchase were being duplicated when a Line Item was deleted and then re-added. Development has modified the code so CTRL+P shortcut now functions properly in Google Chrome. It was reported that Contact email addresses were not populating when emailing Reports. Development has modified the code to make Contact email addresses populate. The Customer has reported that subject lines were not auto populating when Emailing reports. Development has modified the code to make the subject lines auto populate as expected. When the user prints the Acknowledgment report, the line items were not listed by the Item. Development has updated the code to allow the results to be listed correctly. When the user would apply a Custom Date Range, the report would include the day after the selected 'End Date'. This would periodically happen to the 'Begin Date' as well. Development has updated the code by correcting the format the dates were being sent to the server. It was reported that the Quickview Job Status Time and Material Price field is not populating values in Job Details, although, for the job in question, there is T&M showing for this job on the Job Cost Summary. This issue has been resolved and all jobs with Time and Material will show the Time and Material Price on the Quickview Job Status. Customer reported the Flush BOM Utility was producing an error and did not complete. Data Collection - Usage Using a desktop shortcut to open Data Collection is changing the Collection Terminal to "0" Time Ticket Navigator results are in no specific order Server Error is appearing when Generating a Custom Job Traveler It was found that opening Data Collection with a desktop shortcut was causing the system to connect to the wrong terminal. Development has modified the code to make the system connect to the correct terminal when a shortcut is used. It has been reported that in the Time Ticket Navigator, when clicking on the Search field with no filter selected the results are not in any specific order. This has been fixed and the results are in order by Employee when clicking on the Search field with no filter selected. The Customer has reported that a Server Error was appearing when Generating a Custom Job Traveler. Development has modified the code to prevent this Error from appearing when Generating a Custom Job Traveler. 170112201927 170111201532 170116202571 Quoting Purchasing Tables When printing a Quote, text from the Description field for a Part is being cut off on the View/Print option Unknown Exception is appearing when Processing an Order Unable to enter Design Mode for User- Defined fields in the Line Item Details In Employees a Server Error is received when editing an Employee It has been reported that when printing a Quote, if there is a long paragraph in the Description field for a Part on the Quote, part of the text is being cut off on the View/Print option. This issue has been fixed and now the text in the Description field is set to wrap in the Description field. The Customer has reported that an Unknown Exception is appearing when an Order with a Part over 30 characters long is Processed. Development has modified the code to cut Part s off at 30 characters when they are entered on an Order. The Customer reported that the User-Defined Design Mode could not be accessed in the Line Item Details of a Purchase Order. Development has modified the code to allow access to the User-Defined Design Mode. It has been reported that in Employees, a Server Error is received when editing an Employee. If the user tried to 'Clear' only one of the line items, the first line was the only line to change to 'Yes', whereas, Pro would change the chosen line. Development has updated the code to now have the row index from the grid in order to toggle the correct item(s). It was reported that some columns on a Time Ticket were remaining hidden after the user chose to make them visible in Company Maintenance. The code has been modified to help ensure that columns will not be hidden when they should be visible. The user was receiving a 'RemoteHost address is invalid' prompt when trying to email using the Email Type 'Exchange'. Development has updated the code to remove 'Exchange' as an Email Type. In a SaaS environment, our system isn't able to link to their email on their local computer. The user was receiving a 'RemoteHost address is invalid' prompt when trying to email using the Email Type 'Exchange'. Development has updated the code to remove 'Exchange' as an Email Type. To resolve this issue, The Mass Update Utility and all the Miscellaneous Utilities have been disabled if the User has any other Open Areas in Shop. 170206207920 Page 13

Purchasing New and 'Replied' RFQ's don't show up on the Vendor Cost Analysis The reported issue was that not all RFQ's were listed when entering the 'Analyze RFQ's' from an Estimate. Development has found that this issue originated when saving a RFQ. The system set the 'StepNo' field as 'Null' instead of '0'. This prevented the 'Analyze RFQ's' from displaying all results. RFQ's that were created from Job Requirements were working properly. When the user goes to 'Analyze RFQ's' from an Estimate, the system uses the 'StepNo' field as a filter and when it's 'Null', it wouldn't recognize it. Development has updated the code to set the 'StepNo' field correctly. To correct this issue with existing RFQ's, edit the RFQ and click OK to save. This should save the RFQ properly and allow it be viewed through 'Analyze RFQ's'. 170206207642 Quoting Quoting Tables Cycle Time and Cycle Unit columns are not showing in Estimating Router Grid Contact set on the Quote is not being pulled onto an Order Time Tracking Journal not populating correctly Email format supported in Pro is not supported when emailing in Shop Customer reported an issue with hidden columns on the Estimating Router Grid for some users. Development has modified the code to no longer hide columns that are not marked as hidden in Company Maintenance. Customer reported the contact specified on a Quote was not populating the Order, the default contact was being used instead. Development has corrected the issue to use the contact specified on the Quote. If a contact is not selected on the Quote the system will look for the contact associated with the ship to location. Customer reported the date range selected on the report filter was displaying different than the actual report generated. Development has modified the effected reports to generate with the correct date range. Customer reported when sending reports via email the < > symbols were not functioning. Time and Attendance tickets not appearing in Navigator Customer reported that Time and Attendance Tickets, with no detail records, were not showing in the Time and Attendance Navigator. This was preventing new Time and Attendance Tickets from being created for the specified employee and date.
