The following 5 steps will show you how to manage your ipod and iphone without itunes. Step 1: Add videos and music to ipod & iphone With one click on the "ipod +" sign you can add music, videos and more from your computer to your ipod Touch. You can also Drag & Drop music and videos directly from your desktop to CopyTrans Manager. Tip: Instead of using the buttons/icons in the menu bar you can also use the options offered through a mouse right-click. If you want to add several tracks at once, hold down the Ctrl. or Shift keys while selecting your songs or videos. You have two possibilities to synchronize your ipod or iphone with the CopyTrans Manager library. First you can activate the option to immediately apply changes to your
ipod in the settings tab of CopyTrans Manager. You can also apply all changes manually at any time you want by clicking on the Update Button of the menu bar. Remove songs from ipod. Delete ipod videos CopyTrans Manager makes it easy to delete or remove tracks, playlists or even the whole library. The two possibilities to synchronize your iphone and ipod make this even safer than any other itunes alternative you might know. Step 2: Remove ipod Touch videos and delete ipod songs Delete ipod music and remove itouch playlists You can remove tracks from your ipod and iphone as quickly as you added them. Delete single tracks from your device without synchronizing the whole ipod library. Use the "ipod X" icon to delete your music, videos, & films from your iphone and ipod. Please keep in mind that you will delete your tracks permanently from your ipod or iphone.
Remove ipod songs and playlists: quickly and easily! To remove tracks from playlists, choose the "eraser" icon and confirm your choice by clicking on "yes". Now the track has been removed from the playlist, but you still find it in your ipod Touch library. Tip: If you don t want the warning to show up every time you remove or delete a track, just check the "Don t show this message again" option.

If you want to populate your playlists with new music, you can drag & drop it directly from your desktop to the playlist or use the "ipod+" button from the menu

They will even appear in the cover flow of your ipod Touch and iphone. Confirm the changes you made by pressing the check mark button.

Open the ipod summary in itunes and choose "enable disk use". Now open your ipod on your desktop and copy both files to your device. Now you can use the ipod manager on any PC without installing it.
