Once you have gotten to this point in the directions, you should never need to do anything of this again. The program has installed, and can be run by going to the Start bar in the bottom left corner, then All Programs, then Jupiter Networks, Network Connect 7.0.0 and then clicking the icon Network Connect. I encourage you to follow the rest of the steps in the PDF which will 1. Add the Network Connect icon to your desktop. 2. Log you into the application once to ensure its working.

While holding that button; click and drag the Network Connect icon onto your desktop with your cursor. 1. Click Jupiter 2. Click Network Connect 7.0.0 3. Press and hold the Control Key. Then, with the cursor, click and drag the Network Connect icon to your desktop. It will now be a permanent icon on your desktop.

The icon should appear on your desktop like below. Since you have just installed the VPN client, you are currently logged into the VPN. Since this is the first time installing the program, we want to make sure it s working correctly. So, locate the icon in your system tray that looks slightly like the icon called Network Connect. It should say Connected like in the picture below. Status of the VPN: Connected.

Right click on this icon, and choose to Exit. This is how you will close the VPN connection in the future as well. Click Exit

At this point, you have placed the Network connect Icon on your desktop and are logged out of the VPN. This is where you will now typically start from when you need to VPN. To VPN into UC s network all you must do is double click the icon on your desktop called; Network Connect then a window like in the picture below will appear.
