On the Hme tab, in the Settings grup, click Database. The Database pp-up windw appears. 2. Select the destinatin farm r My Registered Sites that will be using SharePint. 3. If yu select SQL authenticatin, the necessary infrmatin must be specified in the Accunt and Passwrd fields. Yu can als validate the SQL database accunt by clicking Validatin Test. c. Failver database server (ptinal) Specify a failver database server. In the event that the specified migratin database cllapses, the data stred in the database can be transferred t this standby database. 28 Alternatively, specify a Database in the Advanced settings by cmpleting the fllwing steps:
a. Click Advanced. The Cnnectin String sectin appears. b. Check the Edit cnnectin string directly checkbx t activate this feature. c. The Cntrl Panel > Exprt Lcatin interface appears. *Nte: The Staging Lcatin buttn is nly available after clicking Exprt in the Plan Management grup n the ribbn. Managing Staging Lcatins Perfrm the fllwing actins n the Cntrl Panel > Exprt Lcatin interface: Create Click Create n the ribbn t create a new staging lcatin. Fr details n creating a new staging lcatin, refer t Creating and Editing Staging Lcatins. View Details Click View Details n the ribbn t view the previusly cnfigured settings fr the staging lcatin. Creating and Editing Staging Lcatins T create a new staging lcatin, click Create n the ribbn. T mdify a staging lcatin, select the staging lcatin, and then click Edit n the ribbn. On the Create a New Exprt Lcatin interface, cnfigure the fllwing settings: 1. Name and Descriptin Enter a Name fr this exprt lcatin. With SFTP selected as the strage type, cmplete the steps belw: Hst Enter the IP address r hst name f the SFTP server. *Nte: Make sure the farm Web frnt-end server where the DcAve Agent has been installed can cmmunicate with this SFTP server. Rt flder Enter the flder where the exprted data will be stred n the SFTP server. *Nte: If the flder des nt exist in the SFTP hme path, it will be autmatically created. If n flder is entered here, a flder named rt will be autmatically created in the SFTP hme path. Authenticatin Cnfigure the authenticatin settings t cnnect t the SFTP server. Enter the Username f the accunt that can use SFTP. Enter the authenticatin infrmatin cnfigured fr the accunt in the SFTP server. Enter the Passwrd, r click Brwse t brwse t the Private key file. If a private key file exists, enter the Private key passwrd. *Nte: Only the OpenSSH key file is supprted. 4. Click Validatin Test t test whether r nt the entered infrmatin is valid. 5. Click Save t cmplete the cnfiguratin f the staging lcatin, r click Cancel t return t the Cntrl Panel > Exprt Lcatin interface withut saving any changes. Cnfiguring Azure Lcatins A Micrsft Azure lcatin is used t stage migratin data fr imprting t SharePint Online and OneDrive fr Business. A SharePint High Speed Online uses a Micrsft Azure lcatin during 33
the migratin. A SharePint High Speed Offline uses a Micrsft Azure lcatin when imprting data. T access Azure Lcatin settings, click Azure Lcatin in the Settings grup n the ribbn. Delete Click Delete n the ribbn. A cnfirmatin windw appears, asking if yu want t prceed with the deletin. Click OK t delete the selected Micrsft Azure lcatins, r click Cancel t return t the Micrsft Azure Lcatin interface withut deleting the selected Micrsft Azure lcatins. Creating and Editing Azure Lcatins T create a new Azure lcatin, click Create n the ribbn. T mdify an Azure lcatin, select the Azure lcatin, and then click Edit n the ribbn. On the Create a New Micrsft Azure Lcatin interface, cnfigure the fllwing settings: 1. Name and Descriptin Enter a name fr the Micrsft Azure lcatin, and enter an ptinal descriptin. 2.
