Alarm Controllers A new 8 port controller is introduced with a wireless FCC, reprogrammable key fob and a low per port cost to help save money on displayed devices. This new controller is easily recognizable through the blue branding colour and is smaller and lighter than any of its predecessors from RTF. Simple key fob programming and a Micro USB port for firmware updates make this controller easy to use. Using the same enclosure is an Android based Smart Controller4 that wirelessly connects to SmartCircle. This controller eliminates the need for key fobs as an Android smart device is now the secure user interface controlling the arm and disarm functions. False alarms will be greatly reduced as they will require both hardware and software sensors to trigger in order for an alarm to sound. If pressure is applied to the Recoiler cable a PreTheft alarm is triggered. Pressure sensors are built into the Vise4 sensor pad offering enhanced security. An LED light deters theft and when the sensor pad is removed an alarm sounds at the Controller. Additionally, the headphone sensor is a mechanical and electronic solution for all Vise products. Mechanically the headphone sensor works as another layer of physical security, preventing movement of the Vise arms. Electronically this sensor works with SmartCircle and Vise4 as an accurate alarm trigger. Other security features include the pressure pin located on the bottom of the pad that activates an alarm if the device is not flush with the security system.
