Outcomes-Based Assessments GO! Think Project 3M Water Sources For Project 3M, you will need the following file: New blank PowerPoint presentation Lastname_Firstname_3M_Water_Sources 3Powerpoint The Pacifica Bay Department of Water and Power operations are financed solely through sales of water and electric services. A portion of capital expenditures are funded through the sale of municipal bonds. The city s water supply is generated from a number of sources, with 35% from the Sierra Nevada aqueduct system, 42% from water districts, 18% from groundwater, and 5% from recycled sources. This supply provides water for the City s residents and commercial and industrial customers. In the past three years, the Department has renovated several reservoirs and pump stations, resulting in better reserves and emergency preparedness capacity. The following table details the in-city reservoir capacities over the past three years. Water capacity is measured in acre feet, in which one acre foot is equal to approximately 325,000 gallons. Years in which zero or low capacity is specified indicates years in which the reservoir was undergoing renovation. 2014 2015 2016 Elkhart Reservoir 350 1250 2243 Gold Lake Reservoir 3685 865 2865 Diamond Canyon Reservoir 2650 3850 4635 Using the preceding information, create a title slide and four additional slides of a presentation that the Pacifica Bay Chief Water Engineer can show at an upcoming City Council meeting. Apply an appropriate theme and use slide layouts that will effectively present the content. Include a table that details the water supply sources, and a column chart with the reservoir information. Apply animation and slide transitions and use the techniques that you practiced in this chapter so that your presentation is professional and attractive. Save the file as Lastname_Firstname_3M_Water_Sources and then insert a header and footer that includes the date and time updated automatically, the file name in the footer, and the page number.
