Jenkins Engineer (CJE) scope = Open-Source Jenkins 60 multiple-choice questions 90 mins plus 30' each before/after test = 2h30 total on site CloudBees Jenkins Platform Engineer (CCJPE) scope CloudBees Jenkins Platform Jenkins 90 multiple-choice questions 60 questions on open-source Jenkins (same as CJE) 30 questions on the CloudBees Jenkins Platform 120 mins plus 30' each before/after test = 3h total on site If you take CCJPE, no need to take CJE Passing scores ~66 % as of Sept. 2016 with pass/fail rate ~50%

FAQ Do I need to take both exams to prove expertise on open-source Jenkins and CloudBees Jenkins Platform? Passing CCJPE means you have proven expertise in both areas. How long is the certification valid? No expiration date. Up to each individual when to re-certify. How long will I need to wait to re-test if I don t pass? Three months. How do you track the test duration? Timer on screen. Once time is up, system will lock down. What is the cost? $150 until 3/31/2017, $200 as of 4/1/2017 (registration date). Do I need to bring my laptop? Computers provided by the test center.
