Telephone Feature Overview Panasonic offers a solution that fits all of your business communication needs. The KX-UT113 model delivers HD Voice over IP telephone that seamlessly integrates with Infiniwiz. An intuitive user interface offers dedicated, onebutton access to common telephony features, and an information rich display delivers content for voice mail, call information, and easy headset use. The KX-UT113 offers superb voice quality when used in handset, headset, or speakerphone mode. KX-UT113 Features HD Audio Hands-free speakerphone 4 context-sensitive soft keys Message Waiting Light Standard headset Jack (RJ-9) Use with power supply or POE Reading the Display Looking at your phone your extension appears at the center of the display. The current date and time will be shown across the top of the display. The four context-sensitive buttons will change depending on what the phone is doing. For example, when the phone is sitting idle it will show (from left to right) Setting, Call Log, Phone book (picture), and Line. Setting will go into the settings menu to make changes to the phone. Call Log will show all previous calls made to this phone. The Phone Book picture will display any saved numbers you have added to the phone. The Line button will turn the line active via Speakerphone or Headset. 4

How to Use your KX-UT113 Phone Answer the Phone To answer a call While phone is ringing, pick up the handset For Speakerphone, press the SP-Phone button To use your headset, press the Headset button The soft key labeled ANSWER can be setup for headset or Speakerphone under phone settings To answer a second call While on a call, a second call is seen on the screen, the indicator light blinks, and you hear a call waiting beep Press the hold button to place the first call on hold. This will automatically answer the second call To go back to the first call Press the hold button to pick up the first call. To mute a call Press the mute button. The indicator light above the Speaker button will blink, indicating that you are muted. Make a call Dial a number, an extension, or a conference bridge without picking up the handset or getting a dial tone first. Simply enter all the digits you wish to dial Pick up the handset OR Press the soft key labeled CALL Using Hold To put a Call on Hold Press the hard key on the phone labeled HOLD To pick up from Hold Press the hard key on the phone labeled HOLD Voicemail Ask your system administrator to be sure the voicemail is enabled, and get the voicemail portal number and default password. For more information, contact Infiniwiz Support. The first time you call your voicemail, you need to set up a new password and record your spoken name as well as your personal greeting. Press messages or dial *85 from your phone, enter your password supplied by your administrator, press 0 to enter mail box options, then simply follow the prompts. From your Infiniwiz phone Press Messages or *85 Enter your password and pound (#) Default password is your extension number From someone else s Infiniwiz phone Dial star *85 followed by your extension Enter your password and pound (#) 5

How to Use Your KX-UT113 continued Transfer a call (announced) To Transfer a call, while on the phone: Press the button labeled TRANSFER Dial the extension or phone number you want to transfer the call to When the second caller answers, announce who is on the line. Press the button labeled TRANSFER a second time to transfer the call. Note: If the second party decides they do not want the call, press CANCEL before the final TRANSFER to speak to the first caller. Note: An announced transfer is recommended to some mobile phone providers. A blind transfer can sometimes go directly to mobile voice mail. Transfer a call (blind - not announced) To Transfer a call, while on the phone Press the soft key labeled BLIND Dial the extension or phone number you want to transfer the call. The call will be connected to the third party automatically. *To Transfer a call directly to a Voicemail while on a call Press the soft key labeled TRNSFER Press the soft key labeled BLIND Dial * and then enter the extension number *This is a custom feature that needs to be programmed by the administrator. Conference Call (Three-Way Calling) To Make a 3 Way Call Dial the first number or answer an incoming call Press the button labeled CONFERENCE Dial the second number or extension Once the second caller has answered, Press the button labeled CONFERENCE again to join all callers. To separate a 3 Way Call Press the HOLD button to switch between callers This places one call on hold, and leave one active each time Note: For 4 to 16 way calling and conference bridge help, contact Infiniwiz Support or your administrator. Auto Answer (INTERCOM) Intercom between Panasonic phones. Dial *99 followed by extension number Call Parking (PARKING) To park the call so it can be picked up from any phone Press the TRANSFER button and dial 700 Listen for and remember announced slot then press TRANSFER To pickup parked call from any phone dial announced slot 6

Phone Top Settings Adjust the Volume on the phone Press Setting soft key > Ringer > Ringer Volume to adjust the Ringer volume. Press the up or down keys while on speaker or headset to adjust speakerphone / headset volume Press the up or down keys while handset off hook to adjust handset volume Change the Ring Type To change the ring type Press Setting Choose Ringing (first option) and press the ENTER button Choose Ringtone (second option) and press the ENTER button Scroll through the Ringtones and choose one. Press ENTER when chosen. Missed Calls Alert The easiest way to clear your missed calls alert When the phone is idle, press the Call Log soft key. Choose Missed Call and hit enter Review the calls if you like Press the soft key labeled Back Phone Reboot Periodically, the phone may require a reboot. Reasons for this include accepting a new configuration or software upgrade. There are two ways to reboot the phone: Press the Setting soft key Scroll down to Restart and press enter. You will also need to choose Yes to confirm. OR Unplug the power supply, wait two seconds and then plug in the power supply again. Note: The reboot process is complete when the idle display is shown with the time and your extension. 7
