To download the Color imageclass LBP7110Cw driver and Network Setup Tool Before the wireless setup can begin the LBP7110Cw Driver/Network Setup Tool must be downloaded, follow the steps below to download the Driver/Network Setup Tool from the Canon USA website. 1) To download the imageclass LBP7110Cw printer driver, go to usa.canon.com/support. 2) Select the [Consumer & Home Office] tab, and then select [Service & Support]. 3) Enter LBP7110 into the search box, and then select it from the list that appears. 4) Click [GO]. Wireless Setup Manual Page 3

5) Click [Drivers & Software], and then select [Drivers]. If your operating system is not automatically detected, select the operating system you are using from the Operating System drop down list. Wireless Setup Manual Page 4

6) Select the most recent driver, according to date and then click [I Agree Begin Download]. 7) Save the driver to your desktop so you can easily access the driver. Wireless Setup Manual Page 5

To install the Color imageclass LBP7110Cw driver and setup your LBP7110Cw Wirelessly To setup the LBP7110Cw wirelessly, you must install the printer driver first. 1) Double click the newly downloaded LBP7110Cw Driver on your desktop. 2) Open the LBP7110Cw Driver folder. 4) When the Print Driver Setup Wizard launches, click [Next]. 5) Click [Yes] to accept the terms of the License Agreement. Wireless Setup Manual Page 8

6) Select the [Install with USB Connection] radio button, and then click [Next]. 7) Click [Yes]. Wireless Setup Manual Page 9

8) When the screen below appears, make sure that the printer is ON and the USB cable is connected to the computer and printer. 9) If you see this message, follow the on screen instructions, then click [Retry]. *If the message reappears, try a different USB port on the computer. 10) When the message below appears, the driver installation is complete. Click [Exit]. Wireless Setup Manual Page 11

Follow the procedure below to set up your printer wirelessly. 1) Double click the LBP7110Cw Driver on your desktop. 2) Open the [Network_Setting_Tool] folder. 3) Depending on your OS you will either see a 32 bit or 64 bit folder. Open the appropriate folder for your operating system, and then double click the [Canon MF/LBP Network Setup Tool] icon. 4) If the User Account Control dialog box appears, click [YES] or [CONTINUE]. 5) Select the [Wireless LAN Connection] radio button, and then click [NEXT]. 6) Select the [Yes, I want to configure network settings] radio button, and then click [Next]. Wireless Setup Manual Page 13

7) Select the [Easy Setup] radio button, and then click [Next]. Wireless Setup Manual Page 14

8) Check to see if your wireless router has a WPS button, and select the appropriate radio button, as shown in the screen below. If you are not sure which connection method to use, click [Useful Tips] first or select My wireless LAN access point does not have a WPS button or I cannot find the button. WPS Router Instructions 1) If your router has a WPS button, select [My wireless LAN access point has a WPS button], and then click [Next]. If your router does not have a WPS button, follow the instructions on Non WPS Supporting Router Instructions, on p. 19. Wireless Setup Manual Page 16

2) Follow the instructions on the screen, as shown below, and then click [Next]. Wireless Setup Manual Page 17

3) When the Wi Fi indicator turns solid blue, the printer is connected wirelessly. Click [Next]. 4) Click [Exit]. 5) To complete the wireless setup process, proceed to Completing the Wireless Set Up, on p. 24. Wireless Setup Manual Page 18

Non WPS Supporting Router 1) If your router does not have a WPS button, select [My wireless LAN access point does not have a WPS button or I cannot find the button], and then click [Next]. Wireless Setup Manual Page 19

2) Follow the instructions on the screen, as shown below, and then click [Next]. The screen below appears while searching for your wireless network. Wireless Setup Manual Page 20

If the message shown below appears, read the message, and then click [OK]. Make sure that the USB cable is connected to your computer and to the LBP7110Cw, and make sure that the printer is turned ON. Click [Next]. 3) When a list of wireless networks appears, select your wireless network, and then click [Next]. 4) If your computer is already connected to the same wireless network as the printer, you do not have to enter your network key. If your computer is not connected to the same wireless network as the printer, enter the Network Key in the blank field, and then click [Next]. Wireless Setup Manual Page 21

While the screen below appears, the Wi Fi indicator on your printer blinks blue. When the printer is connected to the network, the Wi Fi indicator turns solid blue. 5) Disconnect the USB cable from your printer, and then click [Next]. Wireless Setup Manual Page 22

Completing the Wireless Set Up 1) Re open the LBP7110Cw Driver folder on your desktop. 2) Open the Driver folder. Wireless Setup Manual Page 24

3) Double click the [Setup] icon. 4) When the print driver Setup Wizard launches, click [Next]. Wireless Setup Manual Page 25

5) Click [YES] to accept the terms of the License Agreement. 6) Select the [Search for Network Printers to Install] radio button, and then click [Next]. Wireless Setup Manual Page 26

7) Make sure that [Add Printers] is selected, and click [Next]. Your computer searches for the LBP7110Cw printer. Wireless Setup Manual Page 27

8) Select the LBP7110Cw printer from the Printer List, and then click [Add]. Wireless Setup Manual Page 28

9) Once the printer appears in the Printer List for Driver Installation, click [Next]. Wireless Setup Manual Page 29

WPS Router Instructions 1) Insert User Software CD that was included in the box. 2) Click Easy Installation. 3) You will see the below screen, click Start Wireless Setup Manual Page 33

4) Click [Yes] to accept the terms of the License Agreement. 5) Select the [Wireless LAN Connection] radio button, and then click [NEXT]. Wireless Setup Manual Page 34

13) Select the [Search for Network Printers to Install] radio button, and then click [Next]. Your computer searches for the LBP7110Cw printer. Wireless Setup Manual Page 39

14) Select the LBP7110Cw printer from the Printer List, and then click [Add]. If you do not see the printer in the Printer List, be sure your computer is connected to the same wireless router as the printer. To verify which access point the printer is connected to, press the Go button on the printer for 5 seconds to print out the User Data List. Non WPS Router Instructions To setup the LBP7110Cw wirelessly with a Non WPS Router, you must install the printer driver first. 1) Insert User Software CD that was included in the box. 2) Click Easy Installation. 3) You will see the below screen, click Start Wireless Setup Manual Page 46

25) Check to see if your wireless router has a WPS button, and select the appropriate radio button, as shown in the screen below. 26) Follow the instructions on the screen, as shown below, and then click [Next]. The screen below appears while searching for your wireless network. Wireless Setup Manual Page 58

28) If your computer is already connected to the same wireless network as the printer, you do not have to enter your network key. If your computer is not connected to the same wireless network as the printer, enter the Network Key in the blank field, and then click [Next]. While the screen below appears, the Wi Fi indicator on your printer blinks blue. When the printer is connected to the network, the Wi Fi indicator turns solid blue. 29) Disconnect the USB cable from your printer, and then click [Next]. Wireless Setup Manual Page 60

43) Make sure Restart Computer Now is selected, click [Restart] Congratulations! You can now print wirelessly to your LBP7110Cw. You may see two options appear when printing from an application. If you want to print wirelessly choose the one labeled LBP7110Cw. To print via USB connection (USB Cable must be connected to computer and printer) choose Canon LBP7100C/7110C.
