What is eplan? eplan is an online facility that will enable policy owners of Philam Life (PAL), BPI-Philam Assurance Corporation (BPLAC) and Philam Equitable Life Assurance Corporation (PELAC) to view their policy information and make policy transactions online. This facility is available 24/7, all you need is an internet connection and a compatible web browser. How can I access eplan? You can access eplan from an internet-connected desktop or laptop computer (at least 1GB RAM) and most mobile devices (Apple and Android tablets and smart phones), with the following compatible browsers and operating systems: Browser Type (minimum version) Internet Explorer v9 Mozilla Firefox 19 Google Chrome v26 Safari v5 Internet Browser - Default Browser for Samsung Tablet/Phone v4 Operating System (minimum version) Windows 7 Windows XP Windows 7 ios v6 Android If you have the proper hardware and software requirements, simply visit www.bpi-philam.com, scroll to My BPI-Philam, then select eplan. Or you may type https://portal.philamlife.com/eplan/ bplac in your compatible browser.

Are my policy details secure? Yes, eplan uses advanced security measures to protect your privacy and policy information. What transactions can I do with eplan? Check policy and Claim Status Monitor Account and Cash Values Pay for Premiums through BPI Express Online (a separate registration is required for this) File Loans Enroll in ebilling Update Contact Information Partial Redemption Fund Switch Change in Fund Allocation eplan Registration Who can register to eplan? Policyowners of PAL, PELAC or BPLAC can register their active policy. However, the following policies cannot be registered: Lapsed policies Standalone Accident and Health Policies Policies under Salary Allotment Group Policies It is best to have your policy contract on hand when registering to eplan. A valid email address is also a requirement to register in eplan.

How do I register my policy? BPI-Philam: To create an eplan account, please call the Customer Hotline at (02) 528-5501, toll free 1-800 188-89100 or visit a BPI- Philam Bancassurance Sales Executive at any BPI or BPI Family Bank branch. eplan Registration Logging-In / Account Settings Why can t I access eplan using my username and password? Username and passwords are case-sensitive. Make sure you entered them correctly because your account will be disabled after 5 invalid attempts. Your policy/ies may also have lapsed already. If your account has been disabled, or if you want to check the status of your policy, please call our Customer Hotline at (02) 528-5501 or PLDT Domestic toll free 1-800-188-89100. What to do if I forget my username and/or password? If you forgot your username, click on Forgot User Name? button and provide the policy number you used during registration and the Insured s Birthday. Your User Name will be sent to the registered email address. If you forgot your password, click on Forgot Password button and provide your user name and the insured s date of birth. A system-generated password will be sent to your registered email. Reenter your username and use the password we sent to reset your password.

What is the Code in Image? What if I don t understand the code? The Code in Image is there to secure the website. If the code is not clear enough for you, simply click the arrow icon beside it to request for a new code. How do I change my password/mobile number/registered email address? If you need to change your password, update your mobile number, or change your registered email address, just click on the Account Settings option at the top of the menu and choose your desired transaction. Policy Details How do I view my Policy Information? You can view your policy information by clicking on the Policy Details tab. You can now choose to see a summary of all your BPI-Philam policies (Policy Summary), basic information of a specific policy (Basic Policy Information) or the coverage details and financial values of a specific policy (Coverage and Financial Values). Why can t I see more of my policies in my policy summary? You may have accidentally hidden the policy from your list. If all policies are already visible and you are still missing some policies, please call our Customer Hotline at (02) 528-5501, or PLDT Domestic toll free hotline 1-800-188-89100 so we can check and adjust accordingly.

How do I hide or unhide certain policies from the Policy Summary List? You can hide a policy in the Policy Summary page by clicking the Hide button. Select the policies you want to hide by ticking the box beside the policy number and click Submit. Policy Options How do I pay my premiums? You have a number of payment options to choose from. Simply click on the Payment Options tab and choose from the following options: Online Banking - If you have an online banking account with BPI, you can simply enrol your BPI-Philam policy in the Bills Payment option of your online banking account. Auto-Debit Facility - If you want to automatically pay your premiums on your due date, you can enrol in either auto-debit facility, depending on where you want your premiums to be paid from. If you want to use your BPI bank account to pay for your premium, please enrol your policy in Auto-Debit. Other payment options - For a list of other payment options such as ATM, Phone Banking, and over-the-counter at banks and payment centers, click on the link.

Policy Inquiries and Requests How do I inquire about my policy or do transactions? You may inquire about your policy or conduct policy transactions by clicking the Policy Inquiry and Requests tab. How do I know if my payment already cleared or a benefit has been paid to my policy? Payments and Benefits History. You can view a list of transactions made on your policy from this page from the last two years. You can either view transactions within a time period, from a specific date, or for certain types of transactions. How do I check on the status or history of my claims? Claims History and Status from the side menu. You can view filed claims for the past two years. How do I update my contact information? Contact Information Update from the side menu. You can update your Home and Business Address, Email Address, Mobile and Landline number and your preferred mailing address. You can then select to which policies these contact information will be applied.

How do I reinstate my lapsed policy? Online Reinstatement from the side menu. You will see there a list of your policies for reinstatement, with their corresponding details. Before you can request for online reinstatement, you will need to pay for your reinstatement costs located at the rightmost column. You can pay for your reinstatement cost at any of our partner payment facilities. You can check our website for a complete list of our payment facilities. After payment, you can proceed with the online reinstatement and answer the Health Declaration Form truthfully. How do I apply for a policy loan? Policy Loan Request from the side menu. You will see there a list of your policies from which you can file a loan from. Select a policy and then enter your desired loan amount. Once processed, you can proceed to your nearest BPI Branch to pick up your policy proceeds. Please make sure your mobile number is updated so we can send an SMS informing you when the proceeds are available to pick-up. Investments How do I manage my investments with eplan? With eplan, you can now conduct investment transactions that can help you manage your financial values easier. Simply click on the Investments Tab and you can view your investment portfolio and do Fund Allocations, Fund Switch, and Partial Withdrawals.

What is Fund Allocation? Fund Allocation is if you want to change the allocation of your future investments (premiums and top ups). To do so, go to the Investments Tab, choose the policy that you wish to change and choose the Fund Allocation transaction. Click go and follow the onscreen instructions. What is Fund Switch? Fund Switch is if you want to change the allocation of your existing investment. To do so, go to the Investments Tab, choose the policy that you wish to change and choose the Fund Switch transaction. Click go and follow the on-screen instructions. How can I withdraw from my investment? If you are sure you want to withdraw a portion of your investment, you can go to the Investments Tab, choose the policy that you wish to change and choose the Partial Investment Fund Withdrawal transaction. Click go and follow the on-screen instructions. enotice How do I pay my premiums Under the Policy Details tab is a sub-menu named Basic Policy Information from the side menu. You can view the Billing Notice by clicking on the View Billing Notice link. You can sign up for ebilling and get your premium notice to you email address 28 days before your due date.
