The Aquila Portal is being translated into English language. Consequently, some of the print screens below may already be translated. First of all, you can change the Aquila Login page to English. You will be given your Username and Password when you register with the Erasmus Office. In the Annex (last page of this Guide), you may see the translation of the message from the IT system. You can see the recent announcements, some may be in Portuguese language. Sometimes, course news is posted here by your teacher. General information appears here as well, but the Erasmus Office will also inform you about any general news you need to know. 3 P a g e
You can edit your personal details. The two most important things you need to do are to upload a picture and to update your contact information. You can find these settings on the page Personal details Information. To upload a picture is mandatory, because during the exam period, the teachers will identify you by the uploaded picture. When you import a photo, you can decide if you wish to make your picture available to other users. On the same page, you may add your contact information: your phone number and email address. Please note that giving your email address ensures you will receive emails from your teachers via Aquila. To add, edit and delete, use the links at the end of the rows. To change your password, click on Personal Details - Password. First you have to give your current password, and then the new one, and then confirm it. 4 P a g e
If you have something to pay, a notice will warn you: You are behind in payments. Check the situation here. To see which item has not been paid, you can check the situation. Clicking on Here will lead you to a page where you will be told what that payment is. 5 P a g e
You may also check the payments you have done and access to the invoices. On the Student Portal page, Student Curriculum under Plan of Studies you can see the details of your study programme. If you are behind with any payments, the system will not let you see this page. 6 P a g e

On the Calendar ( Calendário ) page you can see the dates of the exams. The Erasmus Office will register you for your exams one month before the exam period. Using the menus you can select the study programme, semester, the course that you wish to see, and the type of the evaluation. You may already print your Transcript of Records by yourself and print as many times as you wish. This document will be signed and stamped on our side. However, in case your University demands the original document, please inform us and we will post it. 8 P a g e
The teachers are responsible for introducing the grades on Aquila. At a first stage, the grades are placed at the courses webpage. The marks from the first period must be online until 72 hours before the same exam, held on the second period. The grades from the second period must be online until the end of the second week of February. To print the Transcript of Records, please click at Academic Services Declarations Continue and then choose Transcript of Records. 9 P a g e

Annex When you receive your password, you also receive the message below, entirely lectured in Portuguese language. On the right side of this page, you may find the translation into English language. The I/T system enables you to use the following services:- E-mail (username@aln.iseg.utl.pt); Access to the Aquila portal; Access to the I/T Labs; Access to the Eduroam Wireless network; Access to the Library s database; The printer network; Your E-mail account has an electronic mailbox with a capacity of 25GB. The username is comprised of your E-mail address, without the aln : username@iseg.utl.pt You can consult the CIISEG page on the ISEG website for more information, including manuals, on: http://www.iseg.utl.pt, menu Escola à Serviços à Centro de Informática, or by the following link: https://aquila.iseg.utl.pt/aquila/unidade/ciiseg The use of all equipment, space and the I/T system implies that you accept all the Rules and Regulations of Use. Any infraction could lead to the freezing, or cancellation of your account, which means that you will be unable to access the I/T system. These rules are displayed in the I/T Lab and are available online on the CIISEG page. If you lose or forget your password, ask at your respective Administrative Support Office and ask for help in recuperating your password.
