Instrument use Introduction: Non-contact video measuring instrument is a high efficiency and precision optical measuring instrument which made from high-resolution CCD color camera, continuous zoom lens, PC computer monitors, adapter box, precision optical ruler, 2D data measurement software and high-precision workstations and other high-precision mechanical structures. it is mainly two-dimensional measurement and also can make three-dimensional measurement. It is widely used in a variety of precision industries, such as electronic components, precision molds, precision tools, springs, screw machining, plastic, rubber, oil seal stop valve, camera parts, bicycle parts, auto parts, conductive rubber, PCB processing and other precision processing industry, machinery, electronics, instruments, watches and clocks, light industry, plastics industry. it is indispensable measuring and testing equipment of universities, research institutes, departments of the metering chamber metrology, laboratory and workshop.

Structure & Principle Picture one Overall Structure Figure Optical image measurement is one of more advanced high precision measuring methods. its working principle is: the work piece (placed on the table) by the LED surface light (07) or outline light (in the base) lighting, after zooming an objective lens (08) under color CCD Camera housing (11) CCD take image, and then transferred to a computer and monitors (10) via S-side strand, the software generates a video crosshairs in monitor (09) as a benchmark, aim to measurement. Through optical scale (06) and (17) driven by the work stage (05) move along X, Y directions, from the adapter to the computer, display and processing of the measurement data, then complete the
6 measurement work. The overall structure of the image-based instruments can be divided into three parts (Figure 1): 1. Instrument base (02), column (13), Z-axis drive (14), X, Y table (05) and X, Y rod conveyor Structure (04, 18). 2. The imaging system (imaging aiming to use), including: Zoom lens (08), the zoom ranges 0.7-4.5X, total video magnification 34-220X. Color CCD camera in the hood (11): measuring the image pickup lens into electronic signals and then sent to the S terminal 17 "color display Display (10), aligned with the edge finder generating a cross line (9) to measure the aim for use. Unpacking & Installation 1. removal of the outside and inner packaging, remove instrument instruction, firstly, read this section. 2. the instrument is moved to locate the main stage, and put on foot screws, leveling instrument with a spirit level. 3. remove the X, Y axis fixing plate, Z-axis slide block fixing screws (slide within the camera housing on the block), X, Y, Z axis will be able to drive. This unit uses power from AC110V-220V, 50-60HZ, connect a monitor, turn on the instrument, the instrument will be installed. Before using the instrument, be sure to carefully read the instructions provided. 4. the instrument installation and inspection before use, generally assumed by the supplier.
8 5. Instrument measurement method Image measuring roughly divided into two kinds of methods: profile measurement, surface measurements. 1. Profile measurements: Profile measurements is to measure the contours of the work piece edge, generally, use Bottom contour lighting, the surface can also be added when required to do light auxiliary lighting, so that the measured edge clarity is conducive measurements. 2. The surface measurements: Surface measurements can be said that the main function of image measurement, who can see the size of the surface pattern, under surface light illumination, almost all instrument can measured by image measuring. For example, a copper foil circuit board size, IC circuit, When the measured object is a black plastic, rubber, video measuring instrument can measure the size easily. 6. Equipment maintenance: Image measuring instrument is an optical, electrical, mechanical integration, precision measuring instruments, need of regular and well maintained and maintenance to keep the instrument in good condition, so that it can keep the original instrument accuracy and extend use life of instrument. 1. the instrument should be placed in a clean, dry inside room (room
9 temperature 20 ± 5, humidity less than 60%), to avoid fouling surface optical parts, metal parts to rust, dust, debris falling motion guide, affect instrument performance. 2. after use, wipe the work stage face should be kept clean, and then cast Dust-proof slip-over. 3. The instrument's transmission mechanism and motion guide should be regularly lubricating, make movement smoothly and maintain good condition for use. 4. Stage table glass and painted surfaces soiled, use a mild detergent and water to clean it, never use organic solvents to clean the paint surface, otherwise the paint surface will lose their luster. 5. long life for LED light source instrument, but when the light bulb burns out, please notifies vendors for replaced by professionals. 6. the instrument precision parts, such as imaging systems, workstations, optical ruler and the Z-axis drive mechanism, etc. are required to fine tune all the adjusting screw and tighten the screws have been fixed, customers do not self-demolition, any questions please notify the supplier for removing, cause equipment failure reduced accuracy by self-demolition is not covered under warranty. 7. measurement software on a computer make a accurate compensation for the table and the error of the optical scale, do not make changes, otherwise, it
10 will produce erroneous measurement results. 8. Generally do not unplug all electrical connectors of the instrument, if it been pulled out, then must Plug it back correctly by tag and tighten the screws. Incorrect patch, it will impact instrument function, seriously, may damage the system. 9. the instrument should be grounded, power interface board of base rear has an identity, and require user make the power outlet must be grounded.
