1 Logging In Go to: https://learningspace.ial.edu.sg/ 1. Enter your NRIC 2. Enter your password 3. Click Login LearningSpace is a learning management system that supports a flexible learning environment with tools for online content sharing, course management, learning progress monitoring, and virtual collaboration. Enter your login credentials at the Login screen to log in 6

1.1 Logging In Forgot Password Go to: https://learningspace.ial.edu.sg/ 1. Click Forgot your password If you forgot your login password to LearningSpace, click Forgot your password 7

2 Managing Your Account Click your name/account You can manage your LearningSpace account: Profile Notifications Account Settings 12

2.1 Managing Your Account Profile 1. Click your name/account 2. Click Profile Filling up your profile is optional, but this feature is a great way to get to know other users 13

2.1 Managing Your Account Profile 3. Fill in your profile 4. Click Save and Close All the fields are non-mandatory if you are not comfortable revealing information about yourself, simply leave the fields blank 14

2.2 Managing Your Account Change of Email 1. Click your name/account 2. Click Account Settings To change your email address associated with your LearningSpace account, go to your account settings 15

2.4 Managing Your Account Notification Settings 1. Click your name/account 2. Click Notifications To configure email notifications (e.g. subscription to posts, discussions etc), go to Notifications 19

2.4 Managing Your Account Notification Settings NOTE: Settings here take precedence over subscriptions (i.e. email notifications must be enabled for subscriptions to function) Click to change your email settings 3. Check the checkboxes of the notifications to receive 4. Click Save Exclude certain courses from delivering notifications Email summaries of notification/s per day Check the checkboxes beside the notifications you would like to receive, followed by Save 20

2.5 Managing Your Account User Progress NOTE: Applicable only to Learner accounts 1. Click your name/account 2. Click Progress Learners can view their Progress for all courses by clicking the Progress link 21

Click items here to navigate through more detailed progress reports This leads you to the progress summary page with a lot of useful progress information Click on each individual item for each course to view more detailed reports 22

Click your course LearningSpace is a one-stop central hub for specific enrolled courses with IAL At the homepage of LearningSpace after logging in, click on your Course 23

3.2 Courses Course Content 1. Click Content The Content dashboard displays all course materials available At the Course homepage, the content area can be viewed by clicking Content in the navigation bar 25

3.3 Courses Classlist 1. Click Classlist The Classlist dashboard displays all individuals enrolled in the course. At the Course homepage, the Classlist can be viewed by clicking Classlist in the navigation bar 29

3.3.1 Courses Classlist Viewing User Profiles 1. Click images to view user profiles The Classlist dashboard provides you a list of all enrolled users in your class Clicking the picture image of a user allows you to view the his/her user profile 30

3.4 Courses Checklist 1. Click Other Tools 2. Click Checklist The Checklist dashboard is a tool that allows trainers to highlight important learning criteria. It also helps Learners to monitor their learning more effectively. At the Course homepage, Checklist/s can be viewed by clicking Other Tools followed by clicking Checklist in the navigation bar 34

3.5 Courses Discussions 1. Click Discussions The Discussions tool is a collaboration area where you can share, post, read and reply to discussion topics. It functions similar to an online forum. At the Course homepage, Discussions can be viewed by clicking Discussions in the navigation bar 37

3.6 Courses Dropbox 1. Click Dropbox The Dropbox tool is an online file repository, used primarily for assignments submission At the Course homepage, access Dropbox by clicking Dropbox in the navigation bar 47

3.7 Courses Quizzes 1. Click Quizzes Use the Quizzes tool to take a quiz, review your quiz results, or see class statistics for a quiz At the Course homepage, Quizzes can be viewed by clicking Quizzes in the navigation bar 54
