1. Introduction For working with clients by electronic means, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) offers Client Communication Platforms (CCP). The CCP spaces are located in the high security data center of the PwC GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft in Frankfurt Germany. The CCP spaces offer data rooms for working together on information and data with PwC and client teams. CCPs allows an efficient, safe and professional collaboration with our clients. The purpose of this paper is to give you an overview of the new CCP structure and to illustrate the navigation within the new structure by the means of the fictive example Global Car Company. If you have further questions, please don t hesitate to contact us! Your Business Service Center Team 3
2. User Guidance 2.1 Start a session the My Spaces Page Navigate to your space using the link that the Business Service Center or your PwC Contact has provided to you or go to the CCP Home page ( My Spaces ) If you are not yet authenticated, you will be prompted with the authentication process of CCP which is described in the document CCP authentication guide The My Spaces page is the starting point for your session Here you can see all the Spaces for which you have access Go ahead by selecting the desired Space Furthermore, you can use the Search function to find a certain Space. Here you can filter your Spaces by Name, Data Owner, LoS, and Territory After choosing a Space you will reach the Home page of your Space 4
2.2 Structure CCP 2.2.1 Hierarchy Space/Room The new CCP introduces Spaces and Rooms as structural elements CCP Spaces usually have hierarchies of rooms The Space embodies the highest hierarchy level Below the Space level you have one or more levels of rooms In this document the concept of CCP Spaces and Rooms is shown with the fictional client Global Car Company (GCC) Your own CCP Space will look similar but not the same, depending on the purpose that your space has been built for The GCC space offers three rooms (Knowledge Base, PwC Collaboration and Management Information), but you can have the need for another structure as defined in your concrete space. Moreover, there may be additional hierarchical levels if needed (In the Example the room Europe comprise the sub-rooms Austria, Belgium, France and so on) Whether you see one or many rooms depends on the roles and permissions that your PwC Admin has granted to you. 5
2.2.2 Features Every Space and every room can have up to three features: o SharePoint Collaboration page o Questionnaires o Reports Any combination of these three features from none to all is possible, depending on the business purpose of your space You can switch within the features by using the Icons in the upper right corner. The in orange highlighted Icon shows your current choice. (In this example we are in the Questionnaire list of the room France ) (Now we are in the Report) 6
(And here we have the Collaboration (SharePoint) page) Not every room has three features. It is also possible that the room has either one or two features: o Knowledge Base for example has only a Collaboration page. o Whereas the room Management Information has a Collaboration and some Reports. If a room has no features, it s only needed for structuring the Room hierarchy. It serves only for navigational purposes. (The room Europe comprises the sub-rooms Austria, Belgium, France and so on, but has no further function). 7
2.3 Space Browser The Space Browser allows you to navigate through the CCP. You can open it with the Button in the upper left corner. After opening the Space Browser you can go through the structure (Space/Room/Subroom) by clicking the arrow tip. Your selected path is highlighted in orange (Space Browser > Global Car Company > Europe > France). The currently selected room is marked with a grey layer (in our example the Space Global Car Company ). Space/Room-titles in the color black are clickable and appear with an orange layer on mouse-over (See France in the figure above). Titles with grey letters are not clickable, because either you have no access to the room or the room has no features as it is only a structuring element ( Europe ). If you are searching a certain Space or Room you can also use the Search function. Type the name of the Space/Room. The Browser will show you the search result with the entered string and the classification in the hierarchical structure. 8
2.4 Breadcrumb Navigation The Breadcrumb-Navigation allows you to retrace your position in the hierarchical structure. (We are in the room France, France is a sub-room of Europe and Europe belongs to the Space Global Car Company ) Moreover, you can use the Breadcrumb-Navigation to go back to higher hierarchical levels provided that the target page has also a Collaboration page (clickable rooms are highlighted in orange, if you move with your mouse pointer over). In our example the room Europe has neither a Collaboration page, nor a Report, nor a Questionnaire, hence it is not clickable. After clicking the Button you will return to the Collaboration page of the Space Global Car Company. 9
