Soundburst has been a music provider for Jazzercise since 2001. Our site is tailored just for Jazzercise instructors. We keep two years of full R-sets and at least four years of individual tracks on our site at all times. All the music is guaranteed to be the correct songs and versions for Jazzercise use. WE DO NOT KEEP YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION ON FILE. We store only your address information and the music you have purchased. When you make your first purchase on our website, you will create a personal account called your User Dashboard where all of your purchases are stored. You can access them again as needed. From the Dashboard area of your account, you can view and print prior purchase receipts, send us an email, edit your account details and access your music library. 1

EXAMPLES OF BROWSER DOWNLOAD FILE OPTIONS We use zip files to deliver complete R-set music downloads. Those files must be saved to your computer and extracted or unzipped before they can be used in itunes or any other music player. This example shows you how to handle a zip file in your browser. You need to understand how this works before you download. Become familiar with your browser. It will save you from problems later on. See examples below. I will give you detailed instructions how to extract the file later on in this tutorial. 1. Some browsers will ask you where to save a file you download. If not, it will automatically go to your Downloads file. 2. Examples are shown above and at right. 3. You must SAVE the zip file to your computer. Do not open it. It will not work until you extract it. 4. It is important that you know what your browser settings are so you can access the file after you have downloaded it. We have found this to be an issue with instructors who are not familiar with downloading. 5. If you can t locate the file after the download is complete, search your computer for the file using the Search button at the bottom left on the desktop as shown below. Type in the file name and your computer will find it for you. 6. All browsers essentially work the same. If yours looks different than these examples, you should be able to still find the same commands. 6

HOW TO DOWNLOAD FROM SOUNDBURST 1. Go to www.soundburstaudio.com 2. On the menu bar, click on Jazzercise. 3. From the dropdown, click on Music. 4. The system defaults to the Full Set Downloads area. 5. You can also choose Individual Tracks by clicking on the sliding menu bar at the top. We have individual tracks from sets back to R1-12. 7

HOW TO DOWNLOAD FROM SOUNDBURST CONT. 6. Make your music selections and Add to Cart. 7. You can add as many selections as you wish. Each selection will represent an individual download on your receipt. 8. Use your browser back button to add selections from the same set. You won t have to go from the main store page each time. 9. You can also search by song title using the Search Products box shown. 10.When you are finished shopping click on Secure Checkout. 8

1. You are now at the Secure Checkout page. HOW TO CHECKOUT 2. Complete the credit card information requested. Be sure you enter accurate info. 3. Complete the billing information section. Please note that you must use the same name and address in this section as the bank that issued your credit card has on file for you. If this information is not the same the card will be declined for security reasons. 4. To the right of the page is a box for coupon or gift card codes. 5. Order Summary Amount that will be charged. 9

COMPLETE CHECKOUT AND CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT 1. It is very important to create an account when purchasing from Soundburst. This will allow you to use the Login feature on our home page to access your account. See Page 19 for Login Instructions. 2. All of the purchases you make will be stored in this account and can be accessed again at any time. 3. When you get to this point in the checkout process, enter a password here. You will have already entered an email as part of the billing information. Remember this email/password combination. You will need it to login to your account when you visit us again. mention Note: The terms and conditions mentioned here ask that you do not share your purchases with anyone else. This music is for your use only. 4. Check both boxes in the Authorization section and click on Place Order/Checkout. 10

ORDER CONFIRMATION PAGE AND DOWNLOAD DELIVERY 1. Immediately after you check out, you will be directed to your order confirmation page. 2. This page will list all of the information used to make your purchase. It will also serve as your receipt. You can access this again at any time from your account. 3. It will also give you links to your download(s) at the bottom of the page as shown below. 4. This example shows that I purchased the R5-15 full set. Notice is it a zip file. 5. I have two options to get the download. I can download the file directly by clicking the Black Cloud/Down Arrow icon or I can download it to Dropbox by clicking on the Open Box icon. Note: The Dropbox option is available but we are not supporting it at this time. 11

GETTING THE ZIP FILE DOWNLOAD 1. If you are downloading individual tracks go to page 22 & 23 for instructions. Continue here for Zip files. 2. Click on the Black Cloud icon. 3. Make sure you SAVE the file to your computer. Do not try to open it now. It will not work. This is a zipped file. It has to be extracted or unzipped to be usable. 4. Click on SAVE File. Then click on OK. 5. Save it to a place on your computer where you can find it again easily. I like to use the Desktop or Downloads folders. Review my instructions about browsers and saving files on page 6 if necessary. 6. This will start the download process. 7. Depending upon your internet speed, this can take up to several minutes. 8. When the download is complete, you will see the the file name, in this case, R5-15 Digital.zip where you chose to save it. 9. The Icon will look like a paper folder with a zipper on it. 12

UNZIPPING OR EXTRACTING THE DOWNLOAD ZIP FILE 1. Right click on the folder (R5-15 Digital Zip for this example). 2. From the options given, choose Extract All or Extract. 3. Your browser will ask you where you want it to save the new file and if you want to rename it. I suggest choosing the default. This puts the new file by the old one. It will take a few moments to extract and create the new folder. 4. You will notice it has the same name but without the.zip on the end. The icon is now an open paper folder. 5. This is the folder you will use. If you open it, all of the music titles will be listed. 6. The music file is now ready to use in any digital music player. 13

USING THE MUSIC FILE IN ITUNES 1. Open itunes. 2. Click on Add Folder to Library. 3. A dialog box will appear asking where you want to look for the file. 4. Direct it to the place on your computer where you saved the file. 5. In my case, I saved it to the Desktop so I will tell the computer to go there to look for it. 6. Click on the file name (R5-15 Digital) and then click on Select Folder at the bottom of the box. 7. This will move all of the individual songs in this file into your Recently Added Playlist in itunes. 14

ORGANIZING THE MUSIC - 1 1. Go to your Recently Added playlist. 2. On the Header bar of your Playlist, you will see the titles for the various columns, i.e., Name, Time, Artist, Album, etc. See the red arrows below. 3. Click on Album so that the playlist sorts by Album. All of the music from the R-set you are working with will be sorted together in the same order as on the instructional DVD you get from Jazzercise. Scroll down and you should see them all together. 4. We have encoded the set name into the information for each piece of music in each set. We used the Album Artist column to show the set name. If you wish that column to show up in your playlist so you can see it like I have here, you will need to add it. 5. I will show you how to do that in the next slide. Notice that the song, Baby I Love You shows R5-15 under the Album Artist column. 15

ORGANIZING THE MUSIC 2 5. This is easy to do. Simply click on the word in the upper right of the itunes screen as shown. We want to use it in Song mode. If there is a different word there click on the dropdown arrow and change it to Songs. In the dropdown box, also make sure the Sort By: is Album as shown. In the same dropdown box, Click on Show Columns and check the box next to Album Artist. This will add in the column that has the set information. 16

ORGANIZING THE MUSIC - COMPLETE 6. You will now see all of the music organized together from the set you just imported. It should be in the same order as on the instructional DVD. You will need to duplicate the steps in item 5 to add this Album Artist column to other playlists. 17

CREATING A PLAYLIST 7. Now that the music is imported and organized, you can create the playlists you need. I like to put each music set in it s own playlist. So I will show you how to quickly import the entire set of music into your playlist. 8. Create the new playlist you will want to put this new music into. I m using R5-15 for this example. 9. In your Recently Added playlist, find the songs you want. Click and highlight the first song. While holding down the Shift key, press the Down Arrow key until the entire set of music is highlighted. 8. In the highlighted area, right click and from the dropdown box, click Add to Playlist. 9. Choose the playlist you want. Mine will be R5-15. Click on it and all the music will be copied into the new playlist. The music is now ready for use. You have downloaded it, organized it in order and created the playlists you need. I suggest adding the Album Artist Column to your My Music master playlist. You will have the set names listed for every song which can be very helpful. You are ready to Jazzercise! 18

HOW TO ACCESS YOUR ACCOUNT (USER DASHBOARD) 1. When you make your first purchase from Soundburstaudio.com, you create an account. 2. Go to our home page, www.soundburstaudio.com. 3. Click on Login. 19

HOW TO ACCESS YOUR ACCOUNT (USER DASHBOARD)- CONT. 4. Type in the email and password you used to purchase from us and click on Login. 5. If you don t remember your password, click on the Forgot Password link. We will send you a link that will allow you to reset your password. 6. This will allow you to create a password and create/access your account. 20

USER DASHBOARD 1. From your Dashboard, you can see all of the content you have purchased from us. If you need to download it again, just click on the down arrow next to your selection to open it and you will see the options available exactly as you saw them when you originally purchased the item. To return to our store from this area, open an item as shown for R5-15 and click on the Visit Vendor s Store at the bottom right. 2. From the Tabs at the top, you can look at your Order History, to reprint receipts for tax purposes. 3. In Account Profile, you can change your default address, update your email address or change your password. 21

HOW TO DOWNLOAD INDIVIDUAL TRACKS 1. Go to www.soundburstaudio.com 2. On the menu bar, click on Jazzercise. 3. From The dropdown, click on Music. 4. From the sliding menu bar at the top, select the header for the year, then from the dropdown select the R-set for the music you want to find. 5. You can also search our website for an individual song by typing the title in the search box. 6. Scroll down to search for titles in a set. 7. Add the titles you want to the cart. 8. Go through the checkout process as explained on pages 8 and 9. 22

HOW TO DOWNLOAD INDIVIDUAL TRACKS CONT. 9. On the order confirmation page that follows, you will get a download link for each title you purchased. 10. Click on the Black Cloud Icon as shown above. If the box at right appears, click on Save File and tell your computer where to save it. Don t Open with ITunes. You must save the file first. 11. Again this depends on your browser settings. If you don t see the dialog box at right when you click on the icon, the file will automatically go to your Downloads folder. 12. If you see the box shown below then the file has been saved to the Downloads folder on your computer as well. 13. Repeat this process for each individual track file until they are all saved. 23

HOW TO DOWNLOAD INDIVIDUAL TRACKS CONT. 14. Open itunes. Click on File. From the dropdown menu, choose Add FILE to Library. Make sure you choose this option for a single file. This is different than the full set download as that was a folder of music rather than one song file. Direct your computer to where the song file you want is saved (Downloads) and click on it. 15. Click on Open. The music will be added to your Recently Added Playlist. 16. From there you can manage the music in your playlists as you wish. 17. Refer to pages 15, 16, 17 & 18 if you need help. 24

MUSIC REQUESTS/SOUNDBURST MUSIC ARCHIVES As mentioned earlier, Soundburst has been a music provider for Jazzercise since 2001. Many of the music sets are saved in our archives. If you are looking for a piece of music from an old Jazzercise set, we may have it and can upload it to our site for you. First, go to our home page, www.soundburstaudio.com. Click on Jazzercise, then on Music. When the storefront loads, you will notice a search box at the top. Type in the title of the song you are interested in. If it is not found, go to the Contact Us tab on our home page. This will allow you to send us an email. Provide the title of the song, the R-set it came from (example: R2-06) and the length if you know it. We will check the archives to see if it is available. If so, we can upload it to our Instructor Requests for you. We will send you a reply letting you know if we were able to add it. Usually within 24 hours. You can then go to the Instructors Requests tab where the songs are listed or search for the song title to find it. Any song that is requested by an instructor can be found here. The cost of the song will be $2 - $3 depending on the label. 25

HELP/SUPPORT Nearly all of the problems we have encountered with our downloads have been because our customer did not understand how their internet browser handles zip or other digital files. The zip file and downloading are features used by many internet companies for lots of different applications. Zip files make it possible to send large amounts of data quickly, whether it be music, photos, documents, etc. If you have trouble understanding the process, try to find someone who can explain it and walk you through it. Undoubtedly there is someone you know who can help as it is a very common means of sending information. On the top menu bar, click on Contact Us or email: customerservice@soundburstaudio.com. Explain in as much detail as possible what the issue is. We will do our best to assist you. Don t worry, we will make sure you get the music somehow, even if we have to email you each song. So don t stress. There s always a way to take care of the problem and we will find it. If you come across an issue with our site or service, please let us know. We want to do the best job we can and we would appreciate your input. Our customers are very important to us! If you aren t happy, we aren t happy! We look forward to working with you and appreciate your support! 26
