XCAM Series VGA or HDMI Camera 1 What is XCAM series VGA or HDMI camera The XCAM series camera is a VGA or HDMI interface one which stream video to displayer or HDTV directly. It adopts high-quality sensor and the current most powerful TI Davinci series professional digital signal processor. This makes the XCAM series camera with high speed at 720P resolution, perfect color reproduction and high image quality. Generally, the XCAM series camera combines hardware video processing, display and acquisition which can be widely used for industrial detection, machine vision, education and medical analyses etc... Besides, with the ToupTek microscope or telescope adapter, the XCAM series camera can be transferred to microscope or telescope camera with 720P resolution and 30 frames/sec. Its stable performance and flicker-free characteristic will help to improve the working efficiency greatly. 2 Features of XCAM series camera Through standard VGA 15pin or HDMI interface to stream the video to displayer or HDTV. Easy connecting to other equipment on the production line with the C-mount optical interface. High-resolution and high frame rate, perfect color reproduction, highly integrated and compact, low failure rate and stable performance. 1280 720 (720P) resolution to match the current high-definition displayer on the market. Supporting various OSD cursors which can be toggled On/Off (functions shift as users press the button). The OSDs including: scale, double horizontal line, double vertical line, double cross line, Tri-cross line. The other function buttons including automatic white balance and exposure on/off (AEWB), saving images to SD card (SAVE), video stream and freeze on/off (FREEZE), remote image snapshot controller to reduce the vibration blur (REMOTE). 5 User instructions 5.1 Possible application and interface of XCAM camera XCAM camera used as microscope camera 5.2 Function key description: The camera light indicator flashes about 15s after the power on. The camera will load software, and then the system begins to work. Auto exposure and white balance are the default state now. Red button(cursor):toggle the OSD cursor on/off (default is off).crosshair style including: scale, double horizontal line, double vertical line, double cross line, Tri-factor cross line. Functions shift as user press the button. 4

Tri-factor cross line Blue button(save):saving the current screen to the SD card, the compression format is JPEG with a resolution of 1280x720, users can press the button or click the remote controller button to save picture. Yellow button (AEWB):Toggle auto exposure and white balance on/off (Default is on). White button(freeze):toggle between the video stream mode/freeze mode(default is video stream) The image displayed on the monitor is the currently captured one under the freeze mode, and the image acquisition will continue after pressing the FREEZE button again. 7
