Dimension Data TaaS better connected
Where did TaaS come from? What Telecommunications as a Service (TaaS) was a programme of work jointly managed by the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) and the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE). Why TaaS will change the way telecommunications are delivered, managed and used by agencies. The programme delivers a catalogue of supplied and managed by a panel of service providers. These will transcend agency boundaries and allow agencies to easily connect with each other and with customers Who In November 2015 Twelve organisations were announced as successful tenderers to be on the panel. Dimension Data was selected for the most across all TaaS towers. accelerate your ambition 8

How
What is the process? 1. Sign a standard confidentiality agreement so the suppliers lists of and costs can be released. You will need to email lead agency at taas@dia.govt.nz 2. Select a vendor based on business need. This process, based on the vendors catalogues, is called the Secondary Procurement Process. 3. Sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Internal Affairs as Lead Agency. This MoU sets out each party s rights and obligations. This provides the agency with the freedom to explore options with any provider of at any time. 4. Sign a Subscription Form (SF) with your chosen partner. accelerate your ambition 24
