Before using TCIT Match To initially use the TCIT Match plug-in for the Milestone XProtect Series, please install one of the XProtect Series products and the Smart Client first. You will see the following icon after installing the XProtect Series: TCIT Match is compatible with the following versions of XProtect. 1. XProtect Corporate 2. XProtect Expert 3. Server Click the Milestone XProtect Management Application Add New Hardware Device There are two ways to scan for hardware 4
Scan for hardware Click Next 5
Scan for device is successful Manually specify the hardware to add Click Next 6
Searching for & connecting the IP camera Connecting completed 7
Click Camera 1 below the Camera & Storage Information folder If the connection to the IP camera in real time is successful, click Save. Click Server Access to set the server IP address Fill in the server IP address and all other requested information Click OK 8
Then click Save Add New Basic User Fill in all the requested information 9
Click OK Click Save Make sure Service Control statuses are all started 10
Right click to create a new plugin name for the level below the TCIT Match folder Type the new plugin name After setup, the new plugin name will appear as shown in the screen below Double-click tcit (the new plugin name) to start the new software license activation process TCIT Software License Activation 11
For users with first time license activation, you will see the following message: Service failed, please input the correct serial numbers. When the notification appears, please click OK. TCIT License Manager process set up In order to activate the software license, the TCIT License Manager window will automatically appear. To continue, please choose TCIT Search in the Select Product scroll list, then fill in the License Key and click Activate. Note:Internet connection is required for license activation. Once the license is activated, you can close the window and start using TCIT Search 12
Enrolling Photos into the Database Click Enrollment Click By Picture and chose the pictures as shown below TCIT Match allows picture sources as well as video sources for database enrollment. Click OK & Finish to complete the enrollment process 13
Editing and Searching the Enrolled Database Click Database Select the query field (UID / Name) & type the information in the input keyword blank Chose Range of time Click Search to see all the database information. Edit and/or Delete Individual Records in the Database Choose one of the enrolled subject s information & right click the mouse as shown below 14
Edit the Database Record Click Edit so you can edit the fields for Name, Spare1, Spare2, Spare3 & Remarks in the blank fields Delete Choose one of the enrolled records you want to delete Click Clear all If you click Yes, it will clear all the data in the database. 15
Click Setting Click Camera Click Add Camera & click the camera number of the recognized camera Setting the Camera (When you click the Setting black button, it will become red so you can set and see the camera image in real time) Human faces in front of the camera will then be recognized in the database 16
Click Threshold Security level options: Low, Middle or High The recommended value: Low Confidence: 0-1000 The recommended value: 500 Pitch: 0-90 allows the angle of the face detection range up and down Yaw: 0-90 allow the angle of the face detection range right to left Pitch & Yaw recommended value: 20 Face size: Allows the face detection pixels range The recommended value: 64 Click Log Select the query field Chose Range of time Click Search to show all logs 17
To clear all logs, click Clear all & Yes Click OK, to clear all the logs Setting the Event Name Click Setting, and then click Threshold /Event Name Type the event name (TCIT) in the Event Name blank then click Save 18
Click the + sign in front of Events and Output, then click Analytics Events & Create New Type the name TCIT in the Name blank, then click OK Click the + sign in front of Analytics Events, and the name TCIT will now appear below Analytics Events 19
Click + in front of Alarms, then click Alarm Definitions to Create New Chose Analytics Events in the first Triggering event blank. Chose the Analytics Events name TCIT in the second Triggering event blank 20
Click Select Click + in front of Server, then click + in front of All Cameras (Server) Click the Camera number that you want to use, and then click Add The camera number will appear in the Selected blank, then click OK 21
Click OK Click + in front of Alarm Definitions, then Alarm Definition will appear below Alarm Definitions Click Options, then click Settings 22
When the Settings window appears, then click Analytics Events. Make sure to check Enabled & set the Port blank number as the same number as the Event port number in the Setting window. Click OK to set up. Client - Configure Setup Prior to Matching Click Alarm Manager. Then click New to see TCIT Match alarm logs. Click the log to replay the video of the event. 23
