Dashboard When you login you ll be taken to your Dashboard, where you ll see a menu of items on the left, and a variety of notices requiring attention in the main area. They are: 1. Monthly Checks: AED units that have not been checked are flagged at the beginning of every month and listed on the dashboard for easy access. If reminders are enabled, email notification is sent to the Primary Site Contact on the 1st, 8th, and 15th of the month, or until the check has been entered in the system. 2. Usage: AED units that have been used are shown here. 3. Maintenance: Any maintenance items are flagged until cleared. 5. Credentials: Responder credentials that are about to expire or have expired are flagged. Email notification is sent to the Primary Site Contact and the Responder 60 days, 45 days and 30 days before the credential expires, or until the credential has been updated in the system. 6. Notes: Any notes set to display on the dashboard are shown here. Items requiring immediate attention can be cleared off the dashboard by clicking on the magnifying glass in the right hand column, which will direct you to the AED details page. The item is then cleared by clicking edit on the record you wish to clear, and following the instructions. Click on the links below for further information: 4. Accessories: AED accessories that are about to expire or have expired are flagged. If Send Monthly Maintenance Checks is set to yes for a location, an email notification is sent to the Primary Site Contact 60 days, 45 days and 30 days before the accessory is due to expire, or until the accessory has been replaced in the system. 1. Enter a Monthly Check Monthly checks can be entered directly through the system, or by clicking on the link in the reminder email, if reminders are enabled. If accessed through the email link, begin at step 3 below. 1. Click the magnifying glass at the right of row. It will redirect to the specific AED that needs to be checked. 2. Scroll down and click edit at the right side of the monthly check row to be edited 3. Enter the date 4. Select the person who performed the check from the dropdown 5. Performing a Monthly Check Physio CR Plus or CR Express 6. Check AED cabinet alarm and all facility signage for presence and any damage. If missing or damaged, contact PAD Program Coordinator or designate. 1. View defibrillator for tampering, damage or foreign substances. If it appears that the unit was tampered with, immediately notify PAD Program Coordinator or designate. 2. Physio Control CR Plus or CR Express: Ensure OK is present on readiness display and battery level indicator if present. If not, immediately contact PAD Program Coordinator or designate. 3. Check all adult pads expiry dates or damaged wires. If expired, contact PAD Program Coordinator or designate for replacement. 4. Check child pads expiry date or damaged wires. If expired, contact PAD Program Coordinator or designate for replacement. 5. Check accessory kit for intact security seal and towel present. Performing a Monthly Check Philips Onsite or FRX AED Zoll AED Plus and Zoll AED Pro 1. View defibrillator for tampering, damage or foreign substances. If it appears that the unit was tampered with, immediately notify PAD Program Coordinator or designate. 2. Philips Onsite or FRX AED Units. Ensure Flashing Green Light is present on readiness display. If not, immediately contact PAD Program Coordinator or designate. 3. Check all adult pads expiry dates. If expired, contact PAD Program Coordinator or designate for replacement. 4. Check child pads expiry dates or child "KEY" is present. If expired, contact PAD Program Coordinator or designate for replacement. 5. Check accessory kit for intact security seal and towel present. If missing contact PAD Program Coordinator or designate. 6. Check AED cabinet, alarm, and all facility signage for presence and any damage. If missing or damaged, contact PAD Program Coordinator or designate. 1. View defibrillator for tampering, damage or foreign substances. If it appears that the unit was tampered with, immediately notify PAD Program Coordinator or designate. 2. Ensure is present on readiness display. Performing a Monthly Check Cabinet Alarm 1. If your Cabinet Alarm is not sounding, please replace the 9V battery. If there is damage to the alarm box please contact your PAD Coordinator or designate. 2. Clear a Maintenance Request 1. Click the magnifying glass at the right of row. It will redirect to the specific AED that needs to be checked 2. Scroll down and click edit at the right side of the maintenance row to be edited 3. Enter the date 4. Select the person who performed maintenance from the dropdown menu 5. Indicate if maintenance is required, and then enter any notes in the notes field 6. Replace an Accessory 1. Click the magnifying glass at the right of row. It will redirect to the specific AED that requires a replacement. 2. Scroll down and click replace at the right side of the accessory row to be edited 3. Enter the product and lot number of the new accessory 4. Enter the installation and expiry dates of the new accessory 5. Select the person who installed the accessory from the dropdown menu 6. Update Credentials/Training 1. Click the magnifying glass at the right of row. It will redirect to the specific person who needs their credentials to be updated. 2. Scroll down and click replace at the right side of the Credential/Training row to be edited 3. Change any information as required, and enter the new expiry date 4.
