1. Add Slideshow From Admin Panel > Mage Solutions > Slideshow > Add Slideshow 1. General Information - Enter title, choose type of slideshow(image, product or static block) - Choose position of slideshow. o We have 6 position of slideshow Content top: on top of main content Content bottom: on bottom of main content Left top: on top of left column Left bottom: on bottom of left column Right top: on top of right column Right bottom: on bottom of right column - Choose is active is yes and choose store to show slideshow. - Choose show text is yes to show caption of image - Choose width, height of slideshow - Choose Transition o You can choose one of four transition Index: it is basic slideshow Basic Carousel: it is slideshow type carousel Thumbnail ControlNav: a slideshow with list of thumbnail image to control slideshow Thumbnail Slider: Same as thumbnail contronav, but the thumbnail images are showed as slider - Choose Animation, Direction, Loop and some other setting for slideshow. 2. Upload content for slideshow We province 3 type of slideshow image, product and static block o Image: Allow you upload image from your computer o Product: Allow you use the product in your site to show on slideshow o Static block: Allow you use static block in your site for slideshow Copyright 2013 Mage Solution. 1. Image type: o If you choose type is Image, on the left side the tab Slideshow Images will be active. Let click on it. o Click to Browse Files button and choose image from your computer o Enter Link and Caption for image 2. Product type: o If you choose type is Product, the tab product will be active on left side, click on it to choose products. o On the right, select No as above image and then click to Search button o The system will search product on your site and list as below o Tick to product you want show on slideshow 3. Select where to show SlideShow - Select tab Display on Pages and shoose the page you want show slideshow - Select tab Display on Categories and choose the category you want show slideshow - After everything, let click to Save Slideshow or Save and Continue edit to save slideshow. 2. Insert slideshow as widget to page content You also can add slideshow as a widget via editor of magento.
